Thanks everybody for your replies. Think we'll still go ahead with the show we've already booked, as seeing St Petersburg in the evening will be a bonus as well. I'm sure it will be be good evening out.

Hi, we have booked to see the folkloric show while in St Petersburg next month but have heard that Celebrity will bring onboard a local production. Does anyone know if it will be basically the same thing? Would we be better to watch the onboard show and swap to a different excursion or will it be worth it to go to a more authentic/professional production? Thanks

Hi, we are on the Celebrity Silhouette to Baltics and St Petersburg in August and have booked for the folkloric show, but now wondering if the ship will bring onboard a local theatrical group? Has anyone seen the show in St Petersburg and is it more likely to be a better or similar production than the onboard one?
