For those of you who are interested in such things & apologies in advance if this has already been posted but I have been advised of the locations where The Cunard fleet is to be laid up.
Queen Elizabeth - Gladstone Australia (Already in position)
Queen Mary 2 - QEII Terminal Southampton U.K.
Queen Victoria - Portland U.K.
Most of The P&O fleet will be positioned in either Southampton, Portland or Dover.
So sad to see the industry come to this.
Stay safe everyone....

Not sure where you are heading too - The QE information page on Marine Traffic states you are heading to Killybegs which is in the North West of The Republic of Ireland. However, the destination map shows that you are heading directly to Belfast which is in Northern Ireland U.K. around 80 miles apart.

So P&O have named their new ship after a Scottish Island famed for its graveyard “Iona”, a curious choice me thinks - One wonders if the new Cunard ship will therefore be called RMS Brompton Cemetery where it’s founder is buried....

Just viewed my voyage personaliser for our up-coming voyage on Queen Victoria in May (V817) and it still quotes Formal / Informal. However on our voyages after that (V834) in Nov & (M921A) in July next year my voyage personalisers quote Gala Evening & Smart, so something is definitely afoot !!!!

We have booked M921A on Queen Mary 2 (will be my 30th Cunard Voyage) in July 2019, starting in Southampton then onto Liverpool, Iceland, Canada and New York with a TA back to Southampton. A really unusual itinerary which I am really looking forward too. Just have to get my next 2 trips on The QV out of the way first [emoji6]

Another late change !! QE is docking at City Terminal not Ocean Terminal due to another ship that has broken-down blocking the entrance to dock 46...
It’s all going so smoothly [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]
Kind Regards.

I can confirm what Mary has said - we have been told now that we are arriving only an hour late due to more favourable weather conditions

Thanks all for the updates, we have been informed that we will be at the Nab Tower around 8:30 and in Ocean Terminal around 11:00, not sure how this will affect the next voyage departure time after ours.

Mine too. We had another medical emergency in Rhodes, a small fire after Katakolon and a 5 hour delay in Piraeus for a electrical problem so all in all and eventful voyage this time.

Hi. I am currently on The QE. We made a detour to Vigo for a medical emergency as the patient was too ill for a helicopter evacuation - No word as to wether we will be arriving back in Southampton on time yet.

QM2 Cancellation 23rd & 30th April
in Cunard Line
Posted
According to the latest update on The Southampton VTS website - The Queen Mary 2 will be sailing for New York on the 27th April 2023, it certainly will not make it by the 30th April as planned but I wonder if the plan is for a couple of speedy round trip TA’s to return those passengers stranded here and then bring the east bound TA’s back to get back on schedule. Of course these things can change. Hope everyone gets sorted soon.
