Hey guys...I also agree that NCL is the way to go. I am looking at the single studio room for the Getaway on 3/11/18 and have heard great things. Also, I have been on several NCL cruises. Although I was with family or friends, it was great for a single guy like myself. As everyone here has said, there are events for singles and the vibe on NCL made it easy for people to meet each other.
NCL also has some amazing ports like Harvest Caye (their new resort that is only a year old) and Costa Maya.
The other cruises may be good, but at least I know NCL is solid for singles. Good luck everyone!
PS - To the immediate posts above, I believe in classy.....hard to do with a a drink package though :-)

Hey everyone! Just came off the panama canal cruise on NCL Jade. Great time. Looking for cruisemates interested in traveling together for 2018 or groups looking to add members. Hit me up and Happy Holidays!

Just came across this thread after doing a search to see if anyone was doing the Bliss. Just got off the Jade cruise to Panama. I was on the Jade in 2015 and they did a complete renovation. I saw the 'before" and "after" and the ship was great. The staff and ship was excellent. I like the Jewel class ships because its more intimate and you get to know people more. I am young so I wanted to meet more people. I did that on this cruise. The food is good - not great, but not bad. They did enforce dress codes in the main dining room. Entertainment was good with some shows being very good. The ports were fantastic especially Costa Maya and Harvest Caye (Norwegian's new resort - less than a year old).
I did their onboard presentation on future cruises and on the Bliss. The ship looks amazing and is designed specifically for Alaska.
I want to book for the Alaska cruise. I can do the solo suite but would be fun to go with others (tired of going with family all the time). Anyone interested? Also would do another one on the Jade.

Hey...looking forward to this cruise. Male from the New York area. Any one else going?
Norwegian lines. How gay friendly

I agree. I have traveled on several cruise lines and have never experienced homophobia on any of them. But Norwegian goes the extra mile to be inclusive and that is why I only sail with them now. I just went on the Panama cruise and the staff were amazing to the LGBT/FOD group that formed. Nothing negative to say. Enjoy the cruise
