Hi everyone,
I came across this thread and I thought I would throw my hat into the 'world cruise blog' ring (so to speak). A friend of mine is a Port Presenter for P&O Cruises. He has been documenting his world cruise travels (as an officer) from on board the P&O Cruises ship Arcadia. You will find his first two entries via this link on my blog The Cruise Blogger, alongside some exclusive officer interviews. It gives a slightly different angle to passenger world cruise blogs, so I hope it's of interest. http://www.thecruiseblogger.com/category/meet-the-officer/

I recently had a look around my first Fred. Olsen ship, Balmoral. As a regular cruiser with P&O Cruises, I was really keen to see what Fred. Olsen ships are like and I was really impressed. For those of you who are interested, you can read my review here: http://www.thecruiseblogger.com/ship-review-balmoral-fred-olsen-cruise-lines/

Hi All,
I thought I would share details of my personal cruise blog that I set up to chart my travels sailing on board P&O Cruises ships as the wife of a deputy captain. I worked out I'd spent 161 days cruising last year, so I have had plenty to write about! I've found it a great way to share stories about my favourite places and the ships I have travelled on as a thirty-something. I hope other people may find it useful too.
For those of you who may be interested, you'll find my blog here: www.thecruiseblogger.com. I'd love to hear about other people's favourite ports and stories too, so do contact me if you wish to write something.

As far as I know they have updated carpets and some soft furnishings in the cabins but I didn't get to see any, so I'm not 100% sure about what has been done.

Hi. Cafe Jardin remains the same as far as I am aware. The tables and chairs are still the same as before and it is still an Italian restaurant. I couldn't see any visible changes there. The library and card room remain untouched too. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone. Oceana has come out of refit and sailed on her first post-refit cruise this afternoon. I went on today to have a look around and I've been impressed with the changes. The palm trees have gone, but the atrium looks good. I have written a post about it on my blog The Cruise Blogger, if anyone is interested. It also includes photos of the changes. http://www.thecruiseblogger.com/ship-review-po-cruises-oceana/

Hi all,
I think I might have the answer to some of your questions. Here are the latest photos from Arcadia post refit 2017. Would love to hear your thoughts on the changes. http://www.thecruiseblogger.com/photos-po-cruises-arcadia-refit-2017/
Cruising when pregnant
in UK Cruisers
Posted
I recently went on a cruise on the P&O Cruises ship Britannia at the beginning of my second trimester. I felt a bit clueless about cruising when pregnant, as I couldn't find much information online before I went. I've put together this post, which I hope will help other passengers planning to go on a cruise during their pregnancy in the future.
