For those who've been on freedom recently, What is your tought? Nice ship? as the cabins are refurbished?

 

Tell me the goods and the bads. It will help me decide!

I personally loved it. Will be back on Freedom this weekend. Then again we have only been on a Freedom and Liberty (same class) so not much else to compare it to. There is a lot to do. It's a big ship but not overwhelmingly big. Idk if cabins were refurbished but I thought they were nice and served their purpose for the amount of time you're actually in there.

Yes. There will be different lines for crown and anchor members. :)

Can someone tell me where I can find the Maitre D to speak with? Are they just at the dining room entrance?

We selected this option in October for our cruise next week and I was surprised how quickly we were assigned a room. We are on the 8th floor in the back of the ship so it's perfect for us!

I live in Michigan too and will be on Freedom the week before you! Enjoy your cruise!

I'm on Freedom in 10 days and will write a review when I get back. We may not go into the dining room except for breakfast or lunch but I will report on the other dining venues as well. This will be our first trip on Freedom.

Will be on that sailing as well 😃

I'm pretty sure we were in line around 11am and it only took maybe 25-30 mins total to be on the ship by the pool 😎

And I loved the water slides on Liberty too! ;)

I personally had an amazing experience with going out of Galveston! We went on Liberty last March and everything at the terminal was so organized and we were on the ship very quickly. However, we drove to Texas so we parked right at the terminal parking lot and got on a shuttle to bring us over to the ship. I really loved Honduras too!

Anyone know if any of these changes have occurred on Freedom?

So I was planning to pay for the Park N Go ahead of time to save money but it asks what time we will be returning off the ship. Since we don't know what time we will be assigned until the night before what time should I put? Does it really matter? Will they have shuttles coming every half hour anyway?

Now I'm really glad we aren't doing any excursions next month on our cruise. After recent events I wouldn't be able to relax.

Never mind, Got it figured out

So I had 2 deluxe drink packages in my cart but my card wasn't working so went to the bank and got it all sorted out. Come home 20 mins later and it says item no longer available and to check onboard. So I tried adding it again and it will not let me. Any idea why??

Depending on the cheese, it may be possible to order without cheese. We were able to special order a few things to fit the kids' tastes. Hopefully there will be easy options and your waiter will be helpful in getting you things you want.

Does anyone know if these new menus are on Freedom? I'll be on board next month and as a vegetarian the old menus looked a little more promising with things I could eat. If all else failed I was gonna get the linguini. These new menus seem to have less options. Plus I don't eat cheese and so many vegetarian options have cheese 😣

We also had the drink package and tipped additional to Bjorn because he was so great.

We had an amazing bar service on Liberty in March! When we were by the pool there was constantly waiters walking around with trays of drinks. There was a wonderful waiter, Bjorn, who always went out of his way to bring my husband drinks at dinner. He was great!

I really enjoyed Roatan 😄

If there was no OBC when we booked our February cruise but now there is $75 OBC offered, would we be able to get that if we called in?

It seems to vary from ship to ship, and sailing to sailing. So far, it's NEVER been what is posted prior to any of our cruises!

That's kinda annoying. 8:30 seems so late for me.

So last November when we went on Freedom we chose the later dining time which was 8pm. That's what it said online under our reservations and everything, but when we got there and were given our seapasses it said 8:30pm. When we went on Liberty we chose 8pm time and that's what it was. We are going on Freedom again in February and I'm just wondering if it's gonna be 8:30 again or why it was like that before? 🤔

Just got back. While I can’t confirm it was adventure ocean, they had a really elaborate splash pad and play area.
