When we were in Belfast this past Fall, we did both the black cab tour of the murals and then had the driver drop us off at the Titanic Museum. All six of us were profoundly affected by they mural tour so I would recommend that.

How much of a loss is considered enough to comp off some items.

I agree. Celebrity should use your photos in their Advertising. We will be on Apex in a few weeks and you just increased my excitement. Absolutely love all the attention to detail in the decor. Thank you so much for posting.

Sorry to bother you, can you also check deck 6 to see if there are areas still blocked off? I’m wondering if our cabin will be moved for our Feb 19th cruise. We are on 2/19 cruise also on deck 6.

For those that don't use Instagram it is written -everything is just pictures and videos, with maybe a flyover word or two on the picture or movie.
One thing I don't like about instagram is that once I see a photo of video it just disappears. Maybe I just don't not how to see it again.

While on a cruise, has anyone ever asked about extending it to the following cruise? I am curious if it is easy to do and, if there is any type of discount offered.

When I did a trial one for ours, I was shocked when the second person came on after the 15 minute wait and all she wanted to verify was the QR code and had me tell her whether I had one or two lines. Felt weird to be reading my own results -- seems ripe for people not being honest.

We will be on the Millennium in August and are wondering what the table minimums are in the casino?
-
In the casino, can let us know what the limits are at blackjack table.

I have a friend on the current Edge cruise and Ft. Lauderdale airport was shut down for several hours Saturday morning so I suspect that led to longer than normal check-in lines.

I am on the 8/20 sailing and I called in and pushed the representative. She had to contact the "deployment team" to receive permission to make the swap. Our original cabin was not available which had a little bit larger balcony in a Sky Suite but, at this point, I am just happy to have it moved.

Spoke with a Celebrity representative last night and they are supposed to begin working on updating the bookings to Millennium today. As of now the Alaskan cruises are a "go" but on the Millennium.

Our most recent cruises have been on Silversea but we have just booked a Sky Suite for Alaskan cruise. This is the first time we have been in a suite on a Celebrity and, after reading the above posts, we are very excited. Fingers crossed the cruise actually takes place.

We disembarked the Spirit yesterday. Loved the Arts Cafe. I am already missing the infused waters and the ham and cheese baguette sandwich. Unfortunately even though we had enough signed up for the meet n mingle, we never received notice of a get together.

Could you provide a list recommended excursions. We are going to Norway on Silver Spirit next year.

We were a Group of 12 family and friends traveling together on Azamara Journey. We booked a tour with http://www.tomeandcoe.com. There are not enough superlatives to express how amazing our day was. Manni was our guide and we went to an incredible equestrian school, followed by a sherry Bodega and ended at a delicious restaurant for lunch. It was such an interesting tour without being inundated with too much information. Manni was knowledgeable, funny, charming and a genuinely nice person. We all unanimously said this was the highlight of our trip and we shave very different interests so that says a lot.

When we were in Kotor we did a private sailing with the Monty B. We were a group of six and had a fabulous day.

We completed our first cruise on a "Star" ship cruising from Barbados and returning to Barbados. If you had asked us on Friday morning if we would cruise with Windstar again the answer would have been most definitely. Saturday morning we were not so sure. The seas were so rough the last night that three of our party of four were very seasick. In addition, a number of the other passengers we spoke with on Saturday morning had the same experience. One of the guests mentioned he had gone up to the bridge and the stabiliziers were turned off. I don't have personal knowledge of this since I did not leave my cabin that afternoon and night.
Now for the good impressions. . .the staff were incredible. Friendly, knew our names after the first day. Without a doubt the best service we have ever had on a cruise ship. We have sailed a with the large lines like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. More recently, we have sailed a couple of times with Azamara and Silversea and gone on several Uniworld river cruises.
Since this sailing left on 12/26, there were a number of family groups traveling with some children ranging in age from mid-elementary to adult children. It was a great mix of ages. We are in our late 50's and our daughter and son-in-law were with us. The islands we visited were beautiful along with crystal blue water. Unfortunately, the beach bbq had to be cancelled since the captain determined it was unsafe to tender so we arrived in Bequia mid-day the day before we were scheduled. We actually enjoyed having the additional time in Bequia. On New Year's Eve, we were docked by Bequia and the party on deck was a lot fun and the island had a great fireworks show.
The pool is very small-- more of a plunge pool. Cabin space was perfectly fine. We tend to overpack and had plenty of room for everything. In addition, we purchased the laundry package and it is a great value.
The food in the dining room was not the quality of Silversea but better than our Azamara cruise this past summer.
The first night the casino was open there was no one in it but as the week progressed, the tables became more busy.
We only attended two of the port talks late in the cruise and wished we had gone earlier in the week. The information provided was good and not too long-winded as we have sometimes experience on river cruise presentations.
Needless to say, with the size of the ship check-in and out were efficient and painless. Both on embarkation and disembarkation days the captain along with senior staff were at the entrance of the ship.

We had something similar happen to us for a cruise that was supposed to be this year. When we noticed it had disappeared, they wouldn't give us the honest answer until a month later when we were informed it had been chartered.

It has been fun reading your live reports. We board Friday in Venice. Really excited to sail with Azamara again.
-
We will be on the Journey in June and one of the Venice shore excursions is Secret Venice Walking Tour. The people in our party have been to Venice before so this sounds appealing. Has anyone done it? If so, would you recommend it. Also, how many people are in the group. We are trying to decide between this or a food walking tour in the early evening which we would plan on our own.
-
After my travel agent was told we couldn't do this by two different people, she finally obtained the approval. I am thrilled this was worked out but surprised it was so difficult since we have previously been very pleased with the on-board customer service of Azamara.
-
My husband is unable to go on June 5 journey cruise. Azamara is not allowing us to substitute by 31 year old daughter in his place. Not very customer friendly to a past customer.

Are you going to be on sailing that leaves from Barcelona on Jully 1? We will be on that sailing with our daughter and son-in-law. If so, you should register for meet n mingle.
Bay of Islands private tour
in Australia & New Zealand

Any recommendations for a private tour in the Bay of Islands. We will be visiting that port on the Celebrity Edge in 2024.
