Ok, so as you can tell with my many questioning posts lately, we are sailing soon and I have yet another question. When trying to book entertainment on my cruise planner, I am told please try later on board the ship. Our cruise is July 21st. Have I waited too long, and is there a chance to be able to see any of the shows if I cannot pre book? :(Thank you so much, you all have been so helpful so far!
Shows on the Freedom do not need to be prebooked. We sailed on her in 2017.

I would highly recommend Spencer Ambrose Land Sea and Beach tour. Instead of spending hours in the bus, you take a speedboat from spot to spot and see the island from a different perspective. It's not cheap at $105 pp but worth it to not have to sit in a van for 4 hours of your day. You can find them at www dot spencerambrose dot com.
Enjoy!
We have done both Cosol & Spencer Ambrose. While we had no issues with our Cosol tour we enjoyed the one through Spencer Ambrose even more. With both you do spend time on a mini bus. (how else could you get to the volcano?) Spencer Ambrose tours included more time on the water in boats and also included a lunch stop in the price. Both tours took you by boat to the beach between the two Pitons for 1-2 hours of beach, snorkel, swim time.

Was wondering if anyone had any info or input on Royal Caribbean's Beach & Turtle excursion (MT24) or Grande Anse Beach
I'd be interesting in reading this answer too.

You are limited to one entree per person. Each additional entree is $10. I've not heard of limits on appitizers.
Thanks, Bob. :)

I've booked Giovannis for dinner for one night of our cruise in February. We have eaten at Portofinos and Chops before but never here. I know Giovannis serves family style but how many items in each category are we permitted to order? There will only be two of us. I would like to sample a few different appetizers and entrees and Im certain my DH would also.

I've wandered over to a strange and fascinating land....NCL :)
Can't wait to follow your LIVE report. Have a wonderful and relaxing cruise!
Fancy meeting you here, Robyn! I see we're both fans of Radio's live reports.:D

The cruise line perk is twice the fun. We save a ton in airline fees by doing B2B.
Wanted to mention to first timers that cruisers call them B2B but when searching the cruise lines site information can also be found searching consecutive cruise and consecutive sailings.
Here are a few FAQ...they don't make it easy to find on the site, takes a lot of searching.

Interesting "new" FAQ there. On our one and only previous B2B we were only permitted 2 bottles of wine on board totally. Nice to know ahead of time we can bring 4 and they'll hold on to the other 2 til our second week. We will be sailing on the Adventure in February for a B2B.

Just one more reason to avoid 3rd parties when possible. If you want the real information, deal with the cruise line.
I was thinking sort of the same thing. Maybe the TA just wanted you to hurry up and book through him.

Going on AOS in two weeks. Is there a place that serves pizza onboard and is it open late? Have always done Carnival and loved the pizza. Also besides the MDR is there a place to get omelettes in the morning? Thank you!:)
DH always got his late night pizza in the Cafe Promenade. There is an omelet station in the rear section of the Windjammer called the Island Grill. They will custom make you whatever kind of omelet you prefer.

Can anyone tell me if Chops is on Adventure of the Seas? If so can you make a reservation prior to boarding?
There is currently a Portofinos on the Adventure and you can make a reservation for that prior to boarding.

My DH & I did and enjoyed it immensely. Saw several alligators as pointed out by our guide/driver. Viewed and held different animals including a baby allligator during a presentation at the "camp". Ate alligator nuggets. Just a fun day.

Just popping in to say I just cruised these past 2 weeks with Robyn on the beautiful Adventure of the Seas and had an absolute fantastic time.
Anthony Richards the CD for the first week was outgoing and accessible to all. Jerome Sueuer who was the Activities Manager filled in as CD for Anthony during week 2 and he did a great job. I hope he gets promoted to the job full time some day soon on some RCI ship.:D
I dont nit pick so little things dont bother me and to be honest I dont have anything bad to report. As Robyn has said all along the Adventure is a wonderful ship with a fantastic crew.;)
Embarkation as well as Debarkation was smooth and quick. Our large group of consecutive cruisers were quickly and efficiently taken off and back on the ship on turn around day.
We met a delightful lady from Great Britain at the dinner table on our first week of the cruise who also was on a B2B so seated with us second week too. It was her first cruise and she did it alone. What a gutsy lady.
Thanks for bearing with me as I have a tendency to babble!:p

I have been following along although I haven't posted. Thank you Robyn for taking us on your vacation. I really enjoyed your posts.
Question: Do you know if there were special excursions in Puerto Rico for the B2B guests?
Thanks in advance. I look forward to seeing your pictures.
I can answer this question for Robyn since I did the same B2B with her. There are excursions in Puerto Rico which end at the airport or back at the ship for those wishing to do so. We did the Rainforest tour and then to the airport at the end of our cruise but some went back to the ship. There are also: Old San Juan tour, New & Old San Juan tour, and Bacardi Rum factory tour.
I had the honor of meeting and chatting with Robyn many times during our cruise. I now need to go back and read and see the cruise through her eyes.

My DH & I will be sailing with Robyn on both legs of her B2B. I better tag this thread so I can read it when we get home & see what we missed. LOL Looking forward to finally meeting her and the rest of our CC gang at the pool bar both Sundays.

Hi everyone!! I'm new here so if I posted in the wrong section let me know! My boyfriend and I just booked a cruise during Valentines Day-Explorer of the Seas!!! I was just wondering if anyone knew if they did anything special for valentines Day...thanks for the help
We did 3 cruises on the Explorer. Two were over Valentines Day. The ship did nothing special. Whatever we did to celebrate we did on our own. I absolutely love the Explorer though!

We didnt get our invitation on either weeks of our B2B Freedom cruise in February. Same thing happened on one or two other cruises on other ships too. No big deal to me but it's a reminder to take the confirmation email sent when this thread reaches the person limit to be entitles to a M & M. That gives the date & time & location too I think. :D:D
