Well, phase 1 sounds like no fun at all!
We did phase 1 (except of the masks and social distance thing) on the Pursuit in the second half of March this year. 😉Â

According to the German News Magazine 'Der Spiegel' (https://www.spiegel.de/reise/kreuzfahrten-starten-wieder-nur-gucken-nicht-aussteigen-a-5e5ed767-bd6e-4601-836e-865d156ffad5), cruising will start soon in Germany.Â
Â
The cruise lines (AIDA, TUI Cruises, Hapag Lloyd) will start end of July/beginning of August with cruises from 3 to 7 days without any ports of call. They'll cruise in the North Sea and/or the Baltic Sea. They can only be booked by German, Austrian and Swiss citizens. The capacity of the ships will be reduced to about 60%, masks have to be worn indoors and social distancing rules will apply. This is phase 1.
Â
In phase 2, other European ports could be called if they are open and hygienic standards can assured onshore .
In phase 3, cruising will return to "normal".
Â
Hurtigruten already started cruising from Hamburg (Germany) end of last month.
Â
I hope that everything goes well with these cruises and that other cruise lines (like Azamara) can also start cruising soon.
Â
Regards from Germany,
Martin

Are regular espressos included? Or no?
Â
Yes, if you booked your cruise in Europe.
No, if you booked your cruise in the US.
-
What's included in the UBP depends also where (Europe/USA) you book your cruise. If you book in Europe, bottled water and coffee specialities (Cappucina, Café Latte, Espresso) is included in the restaurants (but not in the coffee bar).
-
One 1 Liter bottle of water per day and person is included in the UBP if you booked your NCL cruise in Europe. The water bottles will be delivered to your stateroom on the first day of the cruise.

We did the opposite direction in May. We gained a day. You'll lose a day. They didn't do any special party. We crossed the dateline on May 16th around noon. The day after was May 16th again.

Does anyone know how it works with the Covid Test for the second part of a B2B cruise? Does one need to take one (especially when the second part starts in Athens)? Any experience with that?
Thanks,
Martin
