  1. I am looking to interact with anyone who has had to cancel a cruise shortly before sailing due to a medical reason. Using RC travel protection, how was your experience? We are supposed to sail Sunday April 7th, 6 nights Odyssey of the Seas to the Caribbean. My husband had shoulder replacement 1 year ago and has developed an infection that we are dealing with. He had debridement surgery on February 22 and has been on antibiotics since. We may have to cancel the cruise. I have looked over the doctor form and thought there might be someone out there that has had experience with making  a claim with RC. I am sorry in advance if there is somewhere else I should ask this question, thank you.

    1) I will bet you a large amount of money that Cruise is not sailing as scheduled.
    2) In the unlikely case it does sail as scheduled, it never leaves the Schengen zone and there are NO customs involved when you walk off the ship. So much for RCI’s knowledge (or lack there of).

    3) You are throwing good money and time after bad to even consider rebooking your air. Take a refund on your air and say Thank You!

Well airlines are not getting cash refunds, it’s a voucher or a credit! Yeah I realize that it most likely won’t happen. I was able to rebook the same class for no money for now. Although eventually it will probably all be canceled. I will get my money back from the cruise though! Thanks for your inputI was able to rebook the same class for no money for now. 3. Hello! I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. I am hopefully cruising on the Allure of the Seas Sunday September 20-27, 2020. My flight home to LAX got cancelled and now I am trying to rebook. Can anyone tell me the earliest, in your experience, that we can get off the ship on sunday the 27th to catch a flight? I called RC and got no help. Just thought someone might have direct experience with this particular situation? Thank you so much!!

And how short is your layover? FRA is a big, busy airport, and arriving at the main crunch time (in the morning)for international flights frequently means planes get parked at a "stand", not a gate, and the pax get bused in. Layovers of less than 90 minutes are not recommended.

We leave at 5:30pm from lax and land in Munich for about 1 hr 45mins. Then onto Barcelona to one at 5:45 pm. Then on the way back we fly out of Barcelona around 11:15 AM and have a

2 hour-ish layover in Newark. Then landing in LAX at 6:20 in the evening. Not too bad! Three of the four legs are premium economy, 2 seat  rows instead of 3. After I bought the tickets, I checked the fares and they went up significantly. Of course I know they will add flights and things will change over the next year but I feel pretty good about the flights I got for the price! Super excited about the trip, too bad it’s so far away!

  5. Actually in my experience with flights, it’s all over the board. I’ve booked early and late and have gotten great deals. I ended up scoring a sweet flight with great times and short layover. United and Lufthansa in September, LAX to BCN. Premium economy for less than $900! Per person. You just never know!

  6. Planning a Mediterranean cruise on Royal Caribbean in September 2020. The only direct flight I can find from LAX to Barcelona is with Norwegian, has anyone flown Norwegian? Any experiences you can share for us booking a flight on this itinerary? We would prefer and economy plus/business class?

  7. Well, we are I guess.... legit drinkers:) I am wondering if we can still order champagne and/or buckets of beer either to our room, poolside or in the dining room. Is this allowed with being on the cheers program? Does it count toward out 15 drinks? I have literally called Carnival 3 times tonight and have gotten 3 different answers....lol. Carnival Imagination 3 day Ensenada cruise.Thank you!!

  8. Sorry, I know there is probably something out there about this but I cant find it! Ok so how do I get around the "15" drinks max? I get that I can "buy one for a friend" but what about purchasing bottles of wine or champagne or buckets of beer for the table or your room? Can you still purchase these bottles if you have the Cheers Program? If so, does it count toward your 15 drinks? I figured the way they have it worked out, they wouldn't even allow you to purchase any bottles or buckets at all. I would love to here from people who have experience with this.....we are drinkers lol.
