  1. Hey everybody!

I recently took my first P&O cruise onboard Britannia around the Norwegian Fjords. I made videos each day and here is the first. It's our first sea day onboard and I seem to spend most of it eating (buffet breakfast, grab and go lunch, main dining room restaurant).

If you're cruising on Britannia I hope this will get you excited, if you've already been I hope it'll bring back some happy memories!

  2. Hey guys! I recently got back from my first P&O cruise onboard Britannia.

When I was onboard I got up at 6am to film this tour video of decks 5 6 and 7. I hope that you like it!

I've tried to give as many tips about P&O and Britannia as I can.

Let me know if you've ever been on her! I had the most amazing cruise around the Norwegian Fjords. Any questions welcome.

  3. Hey guys! I was recently onboard the Royal Princess taking a cruise around the British Isles. It was AMAZING. I'm from the UK so a British Isles cruise isn't really one that I had considered before but I was just blown away by how many amazing places are right on our doorstep...

Anyway! I hope this video will be of use to some of you. The bed was AMAZING. As wide as I am tall...

  4. You don't need to book tickets. I was onboard for the premiere and then saw it later in the cruise so I've actually seen it twice haha! Just make sure you show up early because it really fills up fast. I'd aim for 30 mins early...

  5. I've heard of LOADS of people who have been upgraded to cabins they feel are worse without being asked. Definitely tick the do not upgrade box if you like your cabin and don't want to move. It's just a risk.

Each speciality restaurant is a different price. I went to them all onboard Britannia (apart from glasshouse). I haven't got the information about how much they cost at the moment but I will be writing a review of them on my site soon.

I love love loved the Britannia and the speciality restaurants were one thing that I think you should do if you can. Sindhu and the beach house were my favourite! (More about them on my site which is in the signature)

    :)

  6. They don't really keep track of how long you are in there either.

They did SO much when I was in there! The man was very clear I had to be out by 12.42 or whatever it was exactly...

    Wouldn’t have stayed a minute longer [emoji23]

  7. Hey. I used this over Christmas :)

You are able to use the steam rooms/bubbly little pools. I just ran around for an hour trying to test everything out.

I don’t believe you can use somebody else’s hour because they scan your cruise card and keep it when you’re inside.

  8. Hello everybody!

I was on the Meraviglia over Christmas and one thing which I really enjoyed about MSC was the MSC for me app.

I filmed a little video about the app when I was onboard which may be of interest to some of you.

I’d definitely recommend downloading it if you’re cruising on the Meraviglia, Seaside or newer!

  9. We love interior rooms! We are barely in there and my kid wpuld rather be in the kid zone. So no point in getting anything else. (I could sit on the swim deck alllllll day) while it is economical it also makes sense for our family since we are in there to sleep and shower.

Yep me too! I don’t understand people who spend a lot of time in the cabin, may as well be at home in my opinion! Haha.

  10. Can’t believe you’d had such drama with your status match! I did mine online, it was all done within a couple of weeks and I matched my NCL Platinum to MSC black.

    Don’t give up on MSC!

  11. Yup, different strokes for different folks. We've ran into a few people who have actually said that if you can't afford a balcony or better you can't afford to cruise, or if you can't afford to fly in first class you can't afford to fly. For us it's whatever let's us travel more, and if that means fitting 4 people in an interior we will.

We do everything in our power to save money on our vacations. If we get a good deal we'll upgrade (had our first ever junior suite last month) but we also drove 8 hours to get a better airfare deal, parked in off airport parking and took a shuttle to save money, flew 12 hours in economy, and stayed in budget hotels for three of the four nights we needed a hotel.

It's great if people have the disposable income to be able to afford fancier traveling, but it can be just as fun taking the budget options

  12. There is ZERO chance of me ever being in an inside cabin....and less than zero chance of being in there with more than me and hubby! EVER!

Good thing we’re all different! :-) I could never afford to cruise at all if I had that attitude ha ha. Need those bargain guaranteed inside cabins!!

  13. Twenty plus years ago sailed the Majesty in an inside cabin (smallest of the small) with our two college-aged kids, including a 6' 2" football player. We laugh about it now, but at the time when the kids saw the cabin their faces were priceless!

Key was organization, putting stuff away, especially at night, and especially shoes. Guys showered at the gym and my daughter and I used the cabin and bathroom. Also, back in those days you did dress up for dinner each night!

Ha ha the shoes thing is SO true! Always tripping over them on the way to the bathroom at night....

  14. We travel as 2 adults and 2 young adult of 13 and 15 and we have done it for most of our cruises. we have no trouble with it, really. Since we have to fly to most ports and getting to FL is usually more than the cruise itself... it’s just fine.

Yep agree! I used to share with my parents and brother when I was a teenager on occasion :-)
