My Tahiti trip is coming up (next week) and I’m starting to think about packing.

Any suggestions?

I’m thinking about shoes & dress for dinner, no heels? What about excursions during the day? Sneakers? Water shoes?

I imagine I need lots of sunblock, what about insect repellent?

Anything else?

also what about tipping staff on the ship? I know there is a charge per day, and a charge on all drinks, do you tip above that?

You can have the captain do it on the ship.

Or I was thinking of doing a ceremony on one of the islands (Bora Bora?) at a hotel....

Yes. The wedding will be symbolic and we will do it legally in the states before or after FP.

We booked Windstar for Aug 2017.

I still need to book air and hotels.

I think we will stop for a night in LA both sides of the cruise.

I would also love to stay in an OWB a night before and after the cruise. Is it worth it in Tahiti? I know everyone says OWB in Moorea or Bora Bora... but for ease I think Tahiti.

Then I have to figure out if we will have our ceremony on the ship, or somewhere else on the islands.

I was looking at Windstar vs Paul Gaugin for Tahiti.

This will be for a wedding/ honeymoon.

The prices on windstar look great with the sale right now.

Just wondering your thoughts....

One travel agent seemed to really push me with Paul Gaugin....
