    If you mean the biobay near Fajardo, the no or new moon phase is indeed the time to go. I don't believe you are allowed to enter the water there anymore as we did many years ago.

     

    I'll assume you are doing this either pre or post cruise?

     

     

     

    We are doing this pre cruise. My husband has a bad back so I’m not sure if kayaking would be a great idea for him ( sounds pretty cool though) so we are looking for alternatives. Maybe renting a car And driving ourselves. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Just wanted to pass along this information.

     

    If you e-mail the Puerto Rico tourism and request maps, they will send you a bundle of maps, tour info etc....all free.

     

    You will not get a reply from your email to them, but about a week later a thick envelope will arrive.

     

    I found the info on another thread but it was buried in a reply so I thought I would share.

    Sewer problems in Barbados

    Hi, we were in Barbados at the end of December and didn't notice any nasty smells. We spent the day at the Boatyard and the sea looked fine. Hope this helps give you some reassurance.

     

     

     

    We are heading to Barbados in June. Was the boatyard as fun as everyone says? Was it expensive? Can you snorkel there and if so do they rent equipment? Sorry for all the questions. Just haven’t seen anything about the boatyard recently. Thanks[emoji16]

    Thanks for the information. Now just to get enough discount Carnival Gift cards to apply to the raise in deposit fees after the change.

     

     

     

    Where are you getting discount gift cards? I have been trying to figure out where they are still available. ( AARP VERIZON ) Do you have to be a member of AARP and how do you get Verizon ones? Thank you for any help you can give. ( Ps I live in AZ if that makes a difference)
