  1. wow guess it best to stop off at guest services couple times check your BILL, and esp on the last night/day dispute it there, happened to me on Princess cruise got charged for something I did not.....they took care of it

This is happening after the cruise. Several people have reported clearing their on board accounts and leaving the ship with a $0 balance, then seeing the charges appear several days later. Best to keep an eye on the credit card for a couple of weeks post cruise. RCCI will refund the charges but you have to call to get them removed.

  2. Hmm, I guess the fact that there may not be enough room at the receptacle location for a 4 port (we have a 2 port) makes that a good idea.

    Something like this?:

    https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-Multi-Port-Samsung/dp/B00VH8ZW02/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1487007050&sr=1-3&keywords=usb+charger

exactly like that. My wife has one and it works pretty well. It doesn't seem to do the fast charging for her samsung phone, but it does charge it just fine. for us, with 3 phones, couple of tablets, and an action cam that charges via USB something like that is pretty crucial.

  3. I wonder if anyone has ever thought to ask a hotel director on board why the policy isn't enforced. Perhaps many of the HDs agree that it's an idiotic policy and have directed their staff to limit enforcement to egregious offenders only (10 year old unwashed athletic shorts etc) because they are aware that it's the Caribbean and hot and it doesn't fit with the attitude of the cruise. I know the staff on board have pretty broad discretionary powers regarding how things are run on the ships so maybe while RCCL hasn't caught on, the rest of the staff have.

Regardless of my own musings the fact remains that what you can wear to dinner is not dictated by a piece of paper, but rather what the staff will allow in their dining room. If they allow shorts, then shorts are allowed.

  4. Unless things have changed in the last few years:

There will be photographers in lots of places and they will occasionally have backdrops set up. You get your picture taken in front of the backdrops or other interesting locations. There is no editing that I know of. They may clean up the framing of the shot by cropping the photos but that's about it.

They do use quality cameras and they have good lighting setup so the pictures will be good but not amazing. (Amazing requires lots of time and photoshop, or an insane amount of luck, usually all three)

Think sears photos not glamour shots.

That's been our experience at least. We usually purchase a few photos, but we've never felt the need for a package. The photos we did purchase are on our walls though.

I'm sure you will be able to find some really special photos. There's no cost to have the pics taken, just pay for the photos you want. So take lots of photos. It's the mud theory of photography. (The more mud you throw on a wall, the more sticks [emoji2] )
