Hi all., taking our first silversea cruise on Dawn this coming June to Norway... looking for recommendation for hotel in Oslo pre cruise and Copenhagen post and must see or do while there
Also I can't seem to find any current info on room service options.. understand the door hanging thing for breakfast but not clear on choices for dinner or lunch... just got off an Oceania cruise and was able to have meals from there specialty and main dining in suite with butler setup . Thanks.. Bob

When you're in a suite do you order room service directly from your butler or do go thru room service number and is it the same if you want room service from the specialty restaurant... Are menus in cabin or on the TV.. Thanks...

Our cruise departs from Portsmouth in early September... Anyone have experience using this port... Is it the ferry terminal that Oceania uses... Positive or negative appreciated

Just made out first booking on Oceania Riviera for 2023...have sailed many times on celebrity so looking forward to a change... These aren't first world questions but I'm curious... My wife doesn't drink alcohol but on celebrity they have non alcoholic wine available.. Does Oceania offer this and I see when staying in penthouse or above you can have Specialty restaurant meals served in your suite.. Is this something the butler orders for you or do you request from regular room service staff.. Thanks, Bob

Don't have an answer but we were scheduled to be on the July 7 apex departure and got COVID the week before and cancelled... I've received port fees refunded but nothing else as of today...

Looking forward to your report... We were scheduled to be on this cruise in a celebrity suite but I managed to test positive for covington 4 days before flying to Amsterdam.. Coming from the US, just didn't want to take the risk..

Received results on app and email.. Printed both off sand printed the celebrity heath prodicals that show this test is accepted...69 bucks for two test including emed monitoring.....

We will be getting our antigen test as we drive thru Portland Or. On our way too Seattle for Alaska cruise later this month... The results are emailed to you.. No hardcopy is provided.. So the question for anyone who has sailed will an email on my cell satisfy the powers that be... Thanks all.. Bob

I had a test at Kaiser San Jose on Monday. Results came back at about 50 hours after test was taken. I am a bit concerned of flying and not having results for our Sept 5 cruise so booked a 30 minute Antigen Test in Palo Alto. Kaiser told me to submit a claim and they will reimburse.
Jim...which test did you book...I see I have a location in Portland Or. On my way to Seattle.. Several test choices.. Is the 129 antigen test the one you scheduled.. Thanks

Anyone have any experiences with the parking garage across from terminal 66. Several negative comments on Google but it's looks very convenient.. Have used the lot by pier 91 before when going out of pier 91 and was very happy with their service
-
Hope this is true but my cruise docs say pier 91... My only issue is parking since I will be driving..two different locations, two different companies for parking... At this time both of these parking providers websites day pier 91 for millennium..

I'm on the 27th sailing and my booking showed up today😀

Does a luggage Valet service exist at Barcelona Port to airport..I read something on the Barcelona airport website but wasn't sure it really existed.. Will be sailing Celebrity there end of May.. Thanks

I see celebrity suites seem to have connecting cabin doors... Anyone have noise issues...Also the only celebrity suite available on my next cruise is 9098... The resort deck is above... Any feedback on that Cabin would be appreciated

I was worried too. Also worried that the butler would be in suite too long and make it awkward. But it was the opposite. He was barely there and had us call him when we needed the next course or told us he’d be back in 10 minutes with the next. It was exceptional service and the food was hot.
If you do it don’t order off the menu. Just have them arrange whatever type of food you’d like and let your butler take liberties probably like you did with the Indian food in Luminae. It was quite fun. Though I think next time around we will try your advice in Luminae too and see how things turn out.
Hey Paul..we too had a corner sky suite on Reflection last week and had Walter as our Butler...he went out of his way to suggest and bring us appetizers when were out on excursions all day..in addition he put together an in suite dinner for us....traditional fair but not off the room service menu...definitely was spoiled by his service... He told us he was flying back to India to visit family last friday but hoped to come back to the Reflection
Royal Caribbean acquisition of silversea
in Silversea

My first silversea cruise is happening in June...I keep reading about cutbacks an other issues with the silversea acquisition by Royal group. I keep getting the impression that it is a recent acquisition when in reality royal acquired a 60 percent interest in 2018 and acquired the remaining 40 percent in 2020...am I missing something... hasn't royal been bean counting for at least 4 years
