Hi.
Just booked 14836 on the Breakaway Nov 27th cruise. Can anyone tell me if
this room is noisy having the fitness center (I think) above it?
Thanks in advance.

We just got off the Sky yesterday (awesome XMas cruise) and was told they are being upgraded in January 2016

My family and I are sailing on the Sky for Christmas :). On our recent
Gem cruise we were able to drop our carryon bags off in our room right away upon boarding. Is that the case with the Sky as well?
Thanks for you help!

Can anyone tell me if there is handicap parking available near the pier ( or easier spots in the garage). Trying to figure out how we are going to get from the garage to the ship.

I've booked our family for the 12/24 sailing of the SKY.
Looking for information on what goes on during the holiday
sailing. Can't wait to spend Christmas on GSC. Doesn't appear to
have a roll call, is this typical?

We booked the Sky for next Christmas. I was told that since one of my kids is under 21 the other could not book the beverage package. I would be happy to have the older one have the package and the younger one the non-alc package. Is this possible?

Thanks for the answers. I didn't see the ginger beer last winter on the IOS.
Might bring some just in case. Trust me, he doesn't wait until Bermuda to enjoy one!

Traveling on the Explorer next month. Does anyone know if they have Ginger Beer on board?
My DH does love his Dark & Stormy!
Thanks in advance.

Am I missing something?
I went online and see the premium at $49 and the following on terms and conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: *Prices subject to change without notice. Packages include server gratuities, cannot be shared, are not transferable. Your check may reflect an additional tax for certain ports or itineraries. When ordering a beverage selection onboard, you must present your SeaPass card bearing the package sticker to your server.

Forgot to mention we did a couple of days in Barcelona pre-cruise, absolutely loved that city, so much to see and do. Definitely do the double decker bus tour! Easy city to get around in.
Enjoy!

We did the Med on the Liberty last Fall. Very much enjoyed the bus tours. While they are more expensive than doing it yourself, we found the guides were excellent and every bus was new and comfortable. No worries about missing the ship, the tours did not feel crowded or rushed. I would think it is very doable thing for your parents.

It's funny that I just checked this week. Both of my children are listed as platinum on our coat tails ( ages 22 and 18). I was very surprised especially for the 22 yo.
Not complaining though I can see the compounding problem Royal is facing.

Looking for a quick answer.
Both the Beach and over the water cabanas are available for our October visit to Labadee. Are there pros and cons to both locations. I do realize that the special lunch is no longer included. Also what is the cancellation policy if I decide later that we don't want it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

We sailed on the Indy in February and our friends who are gold were
able to board with us in the priority line. For what it's worth I am not convinced that it is any faster in the priority line rather just a manner of
making all the lines shorter.

Sorry if this has been asked.
We are booked on the Explorer OTS for Oct 9.
When I go in to make dinner time reservations it
states there are none? This seems odd to me. Is it
too early to make them?
I couldn't get the search to work correctly to search
the forum.

Couple of quick questions....
Is there a limit on the number of people you can have at your cabana. (We are sailing with 10) and want to use it as a home base.
How hard is it to get one? On my shore excursion page it says to inquire onboard.
Thanks for your help.

I also got this survey.
We were on the LOS last month so I figured that is what they meant.
(Though we are on the IOS in Feb!)

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if a sleeveless dress would be appropriate at night but I guess it may be if the climate is controlled as in the Caribbean.
I am not looking to be dressed up in port, only wish to blend in and not stand out.

Hi all.
DH & I are booked on the Liberty Mediterranean cruise leaving on October 13th.
My question is what kind of clothes do I need to bring? From what I have read (and from past experiences in Europe) for day touring we should dress in business type clothing (no jeans or sneakers). Is this right?
Also, at night, my experiences come only from Caribbean cruises. What type of clothes do you wear for dinner. I am used to summer dresses, not sure what the temp will be on the ship in October.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There were a number of excursions that originated from the adventure park. There was horseback riding if I remember right. This is really not a port in which you will want to get out and explore on your own (IMHO).
I think there is an excursion that takes you to a small island off the coast which is supposed to be nice. Would probably look into that if we go again.

I believe that was the place we went to in Belize. We did the kayaking in the rain forest, lunch, and hanging at the pool trip in December 2011.
I have heard before on the boards that Belize is a spot in which you want to be with an organized tour and I have to say I agree. You will be tendered to a small clean village spot where there isn't much but shopping and a beer stand of sorts. All of the excursions leave from there. We had a bus tour through the city which was narrated. The drive to the park took 30-40 minutes. The kayak trip was great (we saw a small alligator in the lagoon!) The leaders point out interesting animals and vegetation along the way. After the kayak trip they provided a belizian buffet (included in the price). Drinks were available and not that expensive if I remember right. We then hung out by the pool until it was time to leave.
Our family certainly enjoyed the adventure, would probably do it again.
Hope this helps,
Kathy
Haven requests

When speaking to my PCC yesterday he mentioned I could call the concierge ahead of the cruise with any requests. What have you requested? I want to make this special for my son (age21) we leave next Monday.
