  1. 25$-27$ depending on how many luggage you have. It’s well organized at the airport for taxis. There is someone there to write the price on a piece of paper that they give you. This way there is no problem with the taxi driver.

  2. We have a reservation for January 19th for one night. Has anyone stayed there recently? Are they honoring their reservations? What shape is it in? Any first person information is appreciated.

Also, any input on Sandy Beach Hotel?

Was there on January 7th, no problems with this hotel.Everything was functional ,good restaurants and stores across the street.2 Minutes walks to the beach but large waves

  3. Does anyone have an update as to whether the trolley is running in Old San Juan? If so, do you know what the schedule is or where to find it? Thanks!

No trolleys on December 28th 2017 and did not see any on January 7-8 after the cruise

  4. We just had a shore excursion cancelled for San Juan. No biggie but...

Has anyone on this board been to San Juan or PR since the hurricanes? I know the 'local' infrastructure is still struggling to get it back together...(sad) but from a 'cruise industry', what is the state of facilities at dock and surrounding areas?

We were in SanJuan January 7th and 8th 2018,post cruise. Many stores and restaurants were open in old SanJuan and in the Condado area. You can see some of the damages but the town is ok to visit. No electricity problems while we were there. Most places accept credit cards.
