    Hi, has there been any changes in regards to the iFly policy of bringing a camera to take pictures of people in your group? Will they let you run outside or take a photo from where we are seated waiting for our flight? We would prefer to experience it together but also wanted to have pictures of the moment. Is there always a Royal Caribbean crew member taking photos of each flight? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

     

     

     

    We got off the Anthem 2 weeks ago. We were unable to bring anything with us outside. There was no one there to take pictures or video. At first we were excited to have an appointment with friends but looking back we should have staggered so we could take pictures.

    Drink Packages Real Value...

    I debated the drink package when we sailed on Anthem 2 weeks ago, it was glad we got it. I didn’t think twice about a cappuccino at breakfast, a speciality coffee at 2:00 or grabbing a bottle of water when I wanted one. I ordered drinks when I wanted one and didn’t feel bad when I didn’t like something. It was definitely worth being worry free.

    Anthem 31 Mar to 7 April 2018

    We were on the same ship. We thought the dinner in the main dining room 8:15 seating food was horrible nights 1 & 2. Seriously contemplated getting the package for the upgraded restaurants. Ate in the Windjammer night 3, gave the Dining room another chance night 4 and the food was excellent from there on out.

    Cococay $2 charge for drinks with the package

    Just got back from our cruise. We were a party of 14 and all had the deluxe drink package. On cococay we split up. Some in cabana and some jyst regular spots. ALL of us were charged $2 per drink even though we all had the package. Even in the cabana area had to pay $2 for each beer. I was a bit surprised since I was expecting the package to cover it. I would have thought it was a oversight other then it happened to all 14 of us at all the bars on the island. Anyone else experience that? (I also found it odd the cabana cove bar couldn't make me a Coco Loco drink)

     

     

     

    We were at Coco Kay this week and our group only saw a change if they got the large plastic cup drinks ($5) or the pineapple drinks. ($5-$7)

    Live: Anthem of the Seas, 3/31 to 4/7

    we're scheduled for the 4/14 sailing, and a SpaceX launch is scheduled for the day we'll be in Port Canaveral. I was psyched to get to KSC, but i've heard from several a launch makes the place a zoo. Actually didn't think it would...it's not infrequent manned stuff any longer.

     

     

     

    REALLY glad to hear you can see it clearly from the ship. i think that will be my plan.

     

     

     

    So what did you do instead of going to KSC?

     

     

     

    We had a private excursion for KSC and turned back to the ship. Watched the launch from the ship. Friends of ours had booked through the ship so they had to go. Took them almost 3 hours to get there. KSC ran out of food, they had to eat only popcorn for lunch. They only had about 2 hours to walk around.

    Wow Bands

    Leaving this Sat on Anthem. I want to get my boys the Wow bands so they don’t have to worry their cards. (I understand I still need them to get on and off the ship) Are the Wow Bands waterproof? Can they be worn in the pool?

    Anthem Bahamas and Florida Questions

    My family and I just got off the Anthem this morning. In Port Canaveral we just took an Uber to Cocoa Beach Pier and rented some beach chairs and umbrella and had lunch. We wanted something laid back and relaxing. In Coco Cay, we just got off the boat and laid around there too. In Nassau, we walked around the town and did some shopping, walked to Junkanoo Beach, rented chairs and umbrella from Tiki Bikini Hut, had some lunch and drinks there, and then walked back to the boat. We had our three year old with us, so we didn't want to do anything too involved or busy. Just wanted a relaxing beach vacation!

     

     

     

    How was Junkanoo Beach? Thinking of going there next week.

    Anthem in March/April

    Just got off the Anthem today. FL was in the low 80’s. Same with the Bahamas. Otherwise you will need warmer clothes leaving and coming back. Think about hitting the solarium on the cold days :)

    The pizza in Sorrentos we didn’t find as appealing as in Windjammers.. that was in our opinion. Have a great cruise!
