I will be on this cruise with 3 of my girlfriends.  A little getaway without hubbies or kids!  So looking forward to it.  We have the 11-11:30 boarding time.  Anybody else doing a girls trip?

We leave Saturday on our first cruise ever on the Carnival Glory.  Super excited but have a few questions!!

1.  If we board at 12:30, what time will we actually be able to go into our cabin?  Do you get your room card (key) right when you board?

2.  We are unsure if we should bring a carry on with swimsuits and a few things when we board or if we should check all bags.  Should we check all bags with porter? Will be have access to our cabin before the bags arrive?  I have heard that it can be quite a few hours for you to get your bags delivered to your cabin.

3.  Anything else we should know about departure day?  There are 4 of us going and none have ever cruised before!!

We are leaving this coming weekend for a cruise on the Glory.  Never having cruised before, I wanted to get some opinions from you experienced cruisers on the wifi onboard Carnival ships, specifically the Glory.   My husband and I are leaving our children at home so we want to be able to be in contact with them as much as possible, so that is the main need for it.  I don't care about streaming movies or any of that, I'm on the ship to get away from all that.   I understand that we can use facebook messenger on any of the plans but only email on the social plan, right?  And we can utilize the Apple iMessage for texting if we have the Value plan, right?  And is the Premium worth it to be able to Skype?  And how reliable are the plans.... am I going to struggle to use any of them?  Any advice is appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

Going on our first cruise (on the Carnival Glory)  in a couple weeks and have a few questions that I was hoping you could all help me with! 🙂

*Are there hairdryers and refrigerators in every room?  (We are in a balcony room if that makes a difference)

*How much money do you take with you for tipping and who do you tip?  (We did pre-pay gratuities but know there are plenty of people to still tip on the ship)

*Are there laundry facilities on the Carnival Glory?  Are they usually busy?  How expensive is the laundry service?

*What things can you think of that we should bring that we might not think of?

*What things should we do on the Carnival Glory that we might miss?  What were your favorite things onboard?

*Did anyone play the "Clue" game onboard?
