  1. It could have been the LIberty they were writing about in regards to the aft pool.  I was on the recent  Liberty Christmas cruise and the lifeguards were very consistent on only allowing 18+  to use  the aft pool and two hot tubs.  When it was questionable , the lifeguard walk ed over to them and asked their age.

This is a pic of Carnival Sunrise (if I remember correctly)  in Nassau as we were leaving on the morning of the 26th

The mac and cheese in the bbq place above the Lido buffet is phenomenal!

Do the entrees and sides  stay the same on the bbq buffet for the whole cruise?   Would they have the mac and cheese everyday?  and what are some of the other sides if you remember.   Thanks.

  3. I think there are so many variables when it comes to getting FTTF.

I had been on 3 cruises prior before it was even offered and when it came time to book our first family cruise, I knew it would be beneficial to us.   Our boys were with us and I wanted everything to go as smooth as possible.    We wanted to take advantage of embarkation day, timewise, as much as possible so getting on the ship as early as we could was fantastic;   did not have to  wait  on our room as it was ready when we boarded - awesome;   less crowded for lunch - bonus;   was able to get in priority/fttf line for  guest services twice;  and the debarkation was a huge benefit to us as we had driven to port and wanted to get on the road  quickly.   We were leaving the port parking by 8:10am.

On our next cruise the FTTF is sold out, so we will plan with that in mind,  but if it becomes available I will purchase again.    On this cruise there will be a day of tendering to princess cays,  so having fttf will be an added benefit.

We like carrying on our luggage  (a friend did not get his luggage until 9pm, and another had his lost for a couple of days) so being able to take directly to room  was just one less worry.

  4. We havent cruised since the 90s and FTTF sounds like a perfect beginning to the cruise. I purchased this yesterday for our May family cruise, but was a little bit confused when there were options to "add" the other occupants of my cabin, since FTTF was a cabin charge, not per person. I did add them at first thinking they needed to be listed for the FTTF program so as to have their S&S cards correct. But I removed them when the additional charge popped up in the window. So..... I purchased only under my name with the correct cabin charge.

I called Carnival just to clarify, but the representative, although very pleasant, she sounded very new, and didnt completely ease my fear that this was correctly done. By having it listed only under my name, will there be any problems at check in (waiting, s&s cards, etc) ? or should I have added my other family members, and the amount somehow adjusted after purchase?
