Quick update. It took about four calls to princess, but they came through! We have cruised with our friends several times and really enjoy having adjoining balconies. Our original balconies were adjoining. We were both upgraded for free but our rooms where down the hall. It took both of us calling and requesting, we were able to keep the upgrades and are now side by side.

Sometimes polite persistence pays off. Every one we talked to was helpful. They wanted to bump us back to make it work, we just kept politely asked to keep the upgrades and they worked with us. Thanks princess!

We do have our reservations linked and it did help. The princess cruise planner filled out a form and passed it to the Yield department and said they would try to keep our upgrades and move us next to each other to connecting balconies. I should hear from Yield in two days. Never heard of that depart. I’ll keep you all posted. Thx for the advice.

We were booked in a standard balcony room next to our friends. We both got upgraded to balcony rooms with the sofa, same category same deck, but our rooms are not next to each other. Do you think they will change our rooms to be side by side but keep the upgrades?

Does the AIBP include ordering minis or small bottles of champagne or wine? We would like to have drinks I the room for sail away or while getting ready for dinner. If I wanted to get enough for the week on the first day, could I just walk bar to bar and do a little collection? I'm not talking about a lot, maybe 4 little bottles each.

If this is not possible, any other suggestions?

Hey folks! I have a few questions about laundry. Do you need quarters? Or can you use your card? Do many of you do laundry on board? Any tips?! Thank you for the help. We are going to be on the regal.

This is our first time being platinum and I have a few questions about boarding.

Is there a separate line for platinum? Is it easy to spot? How much faster is the boarding process?

What is the earliest you would arrive? What time would you guess we would board?

Could our friends come with us if they are a lower level?

How can I tell if these two cabins can have the balconies opened between them? I remember reading you could see it on the deck plan, but all the rooms look the same to me. Thanks for the help.

We will be on the Regal. We loved the back of the crown and CB, but have not found a favorite hangout on the regal.

This will be our first time with the AIBP. Do you have a favorite spot to have your first drink? A fun place to hang out before the muster or during sail away? The last few cruises we did the sail away on our balcony, but I always remember our first cruise and watching from the top deck as the ship pulled away. Not sure what we will do this time.

Yeah, I guess I was not very specific. I'm really asking about the second one. I don't see the anniversary package based on the item number 1000.

And for the crown grill, any suggestions on nights? Go formal night, or non formal night? Do you tip extra?

I had an EZ Air issue today (Delta changed the flight) and I had to work with princess for about 2 hours on the phone to get it fixed.

The princess customer service was great. Very patient. First they offered a new flight, but the times did not work for me. The second option was going to cost money, but it did work for me.

I asked for it to be covered. Was transferred to the next level of customer service and they negotiated with Delta the new flight at no cost increase to me.

For my trouble, they gave me the following gifts (Thank you Princess!). What all do you think is included? Below are the gift descriptions.

The corbels you order for mamosas, do you get a little bottle and open it later or is it a glass?

My favorite part is a week long date with my wife! And, movies under the stars!

I have always chosen a cabin when booking. Is it cheaper to not choose? If traveling with another couple can you request to have two side by side?

Do you have to sign every time? Do all the drinks show up individually on your folio? If so, do they show as $0?

Would it be easier just to buy a bottle at a bar then? What bars sell full bottles?
