Hi,
We are on jewel 1st-8th April. 4th April is Liverpool vs Man City which I am really keen to watch.
Does anyone know if these games are available on board please?
Thanks in advance

Melatonin works great for me but almost too well as leaves me drowsy afterward. If driving at the arrival end then I don’t take them.

Thank you for posting. We are on same ship and same ports on 1st April. Any recommendations for our port to do list or things you did on board and don’t like to be negative but anything to avoid too? [emoji106]

It doesn't matter if 99/100 people say the package is "worth it" to them. You need to know how YOU will use it. As others have said, generally 4-5 alcoholic drinks EVERY day (averaged over the cruise) and you'll break even. Sounds easy, but keep in mind port days. That may change how much you drink.
Knowing what the final bill will be does have some value, but not a lot in my mind. Like maybe two drinks worth.
Getting different drinks if there's something you don't like has no value in my mind. I have a couple of "go to" drinks and that's about all.
I love the people who say "I want to know what the final bill is, if I don't break even, that's OK. But I don't want to waste money on a drink I don't like." (hint: if you don't break even, you've "wasted money").
Thinking too much and not drinking enough is my diagnosis. You only have 2 drinks? Seriously variety is the spice of life, get out there and try them all before we are all 6 feet under and no one remembers who we were anyway. 🤩

From the feb 4th cruise compass it says muster is 5.30 but all aboard is 7.30.

I am booked for my second cruise and am definitely in the deluxe package boat for 4 reasons.
1) I know the cost up front so just factor it into the holiday.
2) I can try all sorts of drinks that I wouldn’t usually even think about.
3) if I feel like a drink then I don’t think about the cost, most of the drinks seemed to be over $6. Any drink $12 or under is included.
4) I saw some people with pages and pages of paper for their final bill, I am on holiday I don’t need extra paperwork.
What ever the OP chooses you will have a great time on an RC cruise, I went on my first to try it but wasn’t expecting much. I was wrong and now think I am hooked!

At kotor and santorini with royal Caribbean it was a mix of both local boats and 2 lifeboat tenders from the ship.

We stayed at the Albion hotel south beach last year. We enjoyed it, it’s an Art Deco building and doesn’t appear to be a chain hotel. The cocktail bar did a really good happy hour promotion.
The pool was nice and it is located nicely across from a cvs and near to the beach and the open air mall.
The one thing I didn’t like was the almost constant smell of cannabis at night but this was in the area and not in the hotel.

Come to the UK, you'll be very fashionable. :)
Sloe gin (in fact all kinds of gin) has become trendy in the last couple of years, there are specialist gin bars popping up everywhere. Not sure RCL has caught on yet but I bet it won't be long until the ships sailing out of Southampton will have a bigger range.

Yep gin all over the place in the uk, all different kinds too. There is a lovely early grey one and my wife tried Parma violets last month. (Sounds yuk to me)

Didn't see or get bit by a single one all week. And we went into the rainforest on Martinique.
Thank you for the reply. Did you use any repellent if so which type? My daughter has been bitten badly before, thanks

Can anyone comment about mosquitoes? Are they a big issue on the islands or at sea? We are from the uk so don’t have them at home. Thank you

I still can't figure out the picture loading bug with my app!! I am writing my full review over the next couple of days and will post it once it's complete.
We have a lot to report on so I'll be pre-writing in Word and then copy paste into forum.
[emoji106] looking forward to it

Anyone else slightly concerned?

Thank you for the cabin pictures, do you have a deluxe or superior balcony cabin? Also which deck are you on?
Looking forward to more pictures, have a great time.

Yes, but only for on board pricing. Pre-cruise pricing varies. Also, Surf is typically not available pre-cruise.
That’s great thanks for quick reply.

Hi
Are these prices universal across the fleet? We are on jewel in April and the pre booking price for 1 device surf and stream is £11.99 which is about $16.50 at current exchange rates.
Thank you

Hi Shellin,
Thanks for your comment. We are sailing from San Juan around the Caribbean.
