Tiniest off topic, but reading a resturant review by a passenger eating out in Italy who complained that non of the waiters spoke English and there no Americans eating there, only locals. He hated it.
I could not get there fast enough.

Check on the internet the requirements for a "Visa on Arrival."
That means you pick up your visa on arrival at Viet Nam AIRPORT.
Also I think you might have to pay cash for a Cambodia on Arrival at the Viking port. Check the internet for Cambodia requirements.

On the NCL "free drink" package drinks are unlimited. (no water) BUT, you pay the 18% gratuity on a set gratuity per day, NOT on what you drink but a fixed gratuity of about 20 to 30 dollars a day per per person) So, if you just think I will have a glass or two of wine for my partner and it could cost $50.00 (aprox) for the "free" wine.
Nothing is for nothing....unless you think RCCL is in business to give stuff away for free.
This is what NCL does, let us see what the RCCL gratuity system will be.
(in the past NCL would charge your account for the drink, add the gratuity, then zero out the drink and only leave the gratuity on your bill. They changed to the flat gratuity system recently.)
Pacific Princess questions - is it old and tired?

A few have jumped in with correct technical answer. The R ships do have a following because they are the perfect size, the perfect layout, ride the seas like a classic Mercedes and because of the size make making friends very easy, of fellow passengers and crew alike.
Because the above reasons many people love the R ships enough to base their cruise on Ship rather then destination, itinerary or cruise line.
