  1. My times aboard the Carla C were the best of times on the sea. Loved the departure night in San Juan harbor. The midnight sailing was something to behold. The three long blasts on the horn while backing out of the slip were bone chilling. Of all the other ships that I have sailed out on the Carla was the most like visiting with family. I think of her often and will always remember my times aboard her.

  3. We sailed on the Carla C 8 times during the late 70's thru late 80's. Does anyone remember Captain Nardini? He was a super guy. Also, Raphial Gualpo the Chief Purser. Does anyone have any idea where these gentlemen are today? Also, I want to find out the final disposition of the Carla C. I have heard many different stories of her fate, anyone really know? Thanks.
