Where would we find lanyards?

My husband and I were wondering about lanyards and cards.

We will be taking the Dream in April and were about to order some Lanyards off Amazon with the plastic case. We were talking about using the cards for everything and he was wondering if we had to take the cards out of the plastic sleeve every time we needed to use them or if they had some sort of thing on the card that you could just lift up to be scanned while still in the plastic sleeve.

The reason we ask is if we needed to take it out, he would rather keep it in his wallet.

I have 53 days and counting.

I have no idea why we didn't even think about smokers. We were worried that our room might smell but never thought about restaurants or bars. I am allergic to cig smoke. It's a pain but has been so nice since laws have come in effect with restaurants and stores lately. I am glad you posted this so I will be on the lookout and remind my husband that we have to try and find places to limit my exposure. We will be on the dream in late April.

I'm going on my first cruise, the Dream in April, do they give you luggage tags when you go to drop off your luggage or do i need to get my tags ahead of time?
