Oh you are going to have an amazing time! We went on the Solstice last May. Lots of memory space for your cameras, layers and sunglasses! We had really warm weather which surprised us, didnt even need coats sometimes.

Just found this. We were on the same sailing and loved it. Its been great reading back through your experience. Even the near miss at Juneau! We were in concierge class on deck 10.

Stand outs for me were Dawes glacier, a 14 people maximum ben fogle glacier and whale tour in Juneau, Brent Nixon's talks and commentary, the amazing weather and Captain Tasos. I follow him on instagram now he's fab 😊

They have made to order omelettes at the buffet and very good. To us, the buffet is the best place for breakfast, since the selection is better and there is no waiting to be served.

We sail on the Solstice to Alaska in a couple of weeks. First time with Celebrity and only our 3rd cruise. Your review is fabulous and so informative, thanks for posting.
