We are travelling to La Spezia and thinking of taking P&O's Lucca on Your Own Trip. Does anyone know how far it is to walk from the coach drop off point into the Old Town, say to the cathedral? Thanks

Pompeii Sightseeing runs a shuttle that makes stops at Pompeii and Herculaneum. You get it in the parking lot of the cruise terminal. Just walk past the taxis and you will see it. It is a red bus that only makes the 2 stops. It costs 16 Euros (round trip) to go to Herculaneum and 18 for Pompeii. We just used the shuttle to go to Herculaneum 2 weeks ago and it was great- a fraction of the cost of a taxi.

The shuttle went all the way in to La Rochelle. It dropped off by the big wheel, quite close to the tourist office and St Nicholas Tower.

Does anybody know if the Cunard shuttle from La Pallice goes all the way into La Rochelle or does it only go out of the port. If it goes to La Rochelle can you tell me where it stops. TIA.
