  1. We just returned from 7 days on Joy to the Mexican Riviera and had a similar situation. There were only a few excursions shown online but once on board, were presented with a printed catalog offering many more per port! Due to the limited options online, we had already booked a couple on our own, but would have enjoyed a couple of the NCL options presented too late.

  2. In Corfu, we did the hop on-hop off bus and explored on our own. Went to the point that overlooks Mouse Island first, really nice views there. Next, head to Old Town. There’s a cool old fort area just outside of the old town center which took us over an hour to explore. Across the street, lots of nice shops and people watching in town. We had lunch at Rex restaurant, which was very good. The Voreia beer is nice, be sure to save room for baklava for dessert; it’s ridiculous.

  3. We got our notice yesterday for the 10/18 sailing out of Copenhagen. Particularly bummed because this was our 30th anniversary trip and we were planning to renew our vows at the Eiffel Tower. At this point, we've actually had more cruises cancelled than we've been able to actually go on!

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

  4. We went from Part Canaveral to Cuba aboard the Sun last spring. I have to say that the service we received and the attitude of the crew left a lot to be desired.

It seemed like most of them were very indifferent and didn't care if we got served or not.

I don't know if it was because it was an "all-inclusive" cruise where drinks were free, or if it was because it was only a 3-day trip, but if that had been my first cruise with NCL, it would have been my last.

I'm interested in a Panama Canal cruise, and was disappointed to see that most of these trips are aboard the Sun.

Did I just have a bad experience?
