  1. What I don’t understand is when there is such a small minority of people, usually under 10,that are utilizing the smoking facilities and four hundred plus other non smoking passengers ,why are the cruise lines so concerned about the smokers? Why can’t one of the major lines stand up and say “we are smoke-free and proud .we are promoting a healthy ship and you’ll never have to worry about a smoke smell in your room or on your food!”? Why aren’t the cruise lines worried about the people that have asthma or allergies to smoke?

  2. The RSSC Navigator has eliminated the closed smoking lounge that was on deck 5. They have relocated the smoking area to a table next to the pool. Sadly for those of us that are allergic to smoke or just don’t like smelling cigarette smoke, the cigar and cigarette smoke wafts over the deck lounge chairs and even gets so far as the open pool buffet. We were so disappointed to not be able to use this area or elven eat here. The chair cushions were saturated with the smell. RSSC says they have no plans to move the “area.” Does anyone know if this a problem on Crystal, Siversea, or Seabourn?
