Hi, going on our first cruise on the Caribbean Princess late may. Not planning on buying the photo package and I am wondering if the photographers for Princess would take our photo with our camera. We have gone to Disneyworld a number of times and the Disney photogs are quite happy to use our camera.

Hi, another newbie question, what type of wall socket does Princess use, standard north american style? If anyone has a pic, that would be great, thanks in advance.:o

Thanks for the advice and comments, well most of them. We have never cruised before so we are just asking about precautions. Not really anticipating being ill but figured we should be prepared.

Just to clarify…Meclizine is not Dramamine. There is a Dramamine Les Drowsy which is meclizine but true Dramamine is dimenhydramate. Meclizine's trade names are Bonine and Antivert. In the end both drugs are antihistimes and anticholinergenics. So they do a similar job in a similar way.
Meclizine is usually used every 24 hours and supposed to be less drowsy whereas Dramamine can be taken every 4-6 hours but can make you vey sleepy.
For those of us in Canada, Dramamine is Gravol. I have never seen Meclizine in the pharmacy but it may be available by prescription.
I am not usually an alternative medicine believer. But I have seen on multiple occasions the Seabands work tremendously well for both my girls and they are at the top of our packing list for their upcoming first cruise.
We have a pharmacist in Waterloo Ont. who has prepared enough capsules of Meclizine in capsule form for our upcoming cruise.

Thanks, we were just wondering what to do in the event we get really good service.

We are about to take our first cruise, Caribbean Princess, this may. We have gone with 6pm dining and if we have the same table and waiter for the week, what would be a suggested tip, and when, end of the week? Thanks:confused:

Ha Ha, love it

Can anyone advise us about the alcohol package on Princess? It would cost us $600 Canadian each for the week, thanks

Is it worth the alcohol package on Princess and is there any kind of liquor store on board, thanks.

Thanks everyone, I am probably just being neurotic.

Hi, my wife and I are taking our first cruise this coming may and have heard that when they collect your luggage as you board, they then leave it outside your cabin. And when you are finished and arrive back at your port, they want it left outside your cabin the night before. Is this true and has anyone had a problem with loss doing this? I am a little uncomfortable doing it this way.
