Just off the Serenade of the Sea found the bed in the wheelchair accessible room to be extremely low.. any ideas or suggestions of which cruiseline may have higher beds in accessible cabins?

Does the Crown and Castle serve food?
We are sailing on September 11th and can't wait

Does anyone know if there are normally wheelchair taxis at Halifax or St. John Nova Scotia or do you need to make arrangements ahead?

I am going on the New England / Canada 5 day cruise in September. Does anyone know what time the nightly shows are? Thank you

My husband and I will be going on the Serenade of the Sea in September for his first cruise. He is completely confined to a wheelchair, when you bring your own shower / commode chair do you take this carry on luggage or checked baggage? As at this point we are planning on bringing our own, as we are renting a Hoyer lift to have delivered to the room. We will be driving to the port so the airport is not an issue. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We knew it would be lower than we have at home and thankfully had rented at lift. As the bed was only 21 inchs high, my husband could get into the bed but the transfer into his powerchair would have been impossible without the lift.
