Booked our first today, seems like such an interesting concept when balcony pricing is out of reach.
I loved our room with the vb

I guess it doesn't make sense to me.

Darn. We were on ovation in August and they had them. Oh well. Great concept though.

I am sailing on Oasis of the seas in HC #6149. Do the interior rooms have a virtual balcony like we did on ovation of the seas?

My husband and I will be taking a cruise out of Miami on Carnival Sunrise May2-7, 2022.
I pretty much have been informed about how to get my scooter around the ship but what about the ramps they have getting onto the ships? I remember some of them are really uphill and there are several turns and several planks to get to the ship. Can you ride your scooter right on them?
Also, this have nothing to do with the cruise, but how the heck does one bring their scooter onto an airplane? We will be flying and I don't know if you have to check the scooter and walk through all the places you have have to go in the airport? There is no way I can walk that long of a distance. If anyone has had experience with flying with a mobility scooter, can you let me know what you had to do? I am pretty concerned about that. Thank you.

:confused:I will be disembarking off the Celebrity Constellation in March 2016 from the Ft. Lauderdale pier. I am renting a car from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. What are my options getting to the airport from the pier? Is there anything for free? Maybe a car rental shuttle? Just trying to plan everything out. Thanks. Happy Sailing

Avis has an office on 17th St. across from the Hyatt Pier 66. They have a free shuttle from the port.
so you basically walk out of the cruise port with your luggage and you can see the shuttle? does it keep going around and around? i am so new at this...lol

Can anyone steer me in the right direction to reserve a rental car from the Ft. Lauderdale pier after a cruise? I am cruising on the FlowerPower Cruise leaving February 29 and returning March 5, 2016. I really don't want to pay beaucoup bucks to take a shuttle to the airport dragging my luggage just to rent a car. Thank you and happy sailing.

I am sailing on the flowerpower cruise on february 29, 2016 out of Ft. Lauderdale aboard the Celebrity Constellation. I will be sailing alone and am quite nervous about this. My concern is: how do I go about renting a car that will be at the pier for me when I disembark. Have been going through websites and can only find car rentals at the airport. I don't feel like spending $70 to be shuttled to the airport when I am not flying home but driving home. Can anyone steer me in the right direction with this please? Thank you. Happy Sailing
