looking for the recommendation from the vast expierience travellers on here..

is it best pack by rolling clothes or folding to eliminate the amount of creases when on board?

appreciate the response.

Most often we find them outside the stateroom, but every once in a while someone puts them inside the stateroom.

If we plan to arrive jusr before 1pm and hopefully cabin is ready , my understanding is you leave your luggage at the port, on average when do you normally get your luggsge back ? I assume they drop it off at your cabin ?

Anywhere from 15-20 minutes. Depending on how long it takes for others to finally make it down to the drill on time, which is annoying when they don't show up on time and make everyone wait.

 

Yes, just take your sea pass card with you and check in with the crew member for that station.

 

This last time on Oasis we watched the very funny video with the "spy" couple. It was cute...or at least I thought it was as something different. Have seen that type on airlines lately also. Little comedy thrown in. ;)

doing my first cruise in May, can i ask how long the drill normally lasts ,

I assume you just take your sea pass with you and they use that as a check you are there ?

I enjoy reading all the great advice and responses to posts on the forum . As its my first cruise comin up in May on the Symphony of the Seas can I ask from your expierences what would be your one top tip / piece of advice you can give so that I get the best out of my time onboard ?

A few questions about the online check in, I didn't realize that they needed your Insurance details as well.... is there anything else I will need apart from Passport details and travel plans before/after the cruise?

 

Also I intend to do all of this at home but I don't have access to a printer at home so my question is can I complete the online check in at home and then get back into it later when at work to do all the printing?

you can complete it all without insurance details, just enter TBA for insurer and TBA for policy number , if it still requires a phone # enter 00000000

you can always add this later if required after printing your set sail pass,, ive no idea why they require these details prior to sailing from UK passengers only.

No. However the coffees served at Cafe Promenade, Park Cafe, and restaurants are included.

Since you mentioned going straight to your cabin, realize that they won't be available until around 1 PM. If you show up early, you may get on quick, but you'll have to stay in public spaces until the cabins are ready.

prob wont arrive till 1PM anyway but thanks for the info

Also the ship is so big she will be boarding across 2 terminals. Depending on where your cabin is you will be directed to the right one.

Speeds things up. Quick checkin, past the wine shop, up the escalator and you are on board!

Wow, didnt excpect it to be so quick,, we have done all the online check in process so hoped it wouldn't be to long but if its 10mins I'd be so impressed , thanks for response

Hi , newbie question..

We are on the Symphony for Western Europe cruise in May ,, as we dont have priority check in , what on average is the time it takes from arriving at the port to get through check in/security and actually getting to you cabin. Just curious of how long the process takes.!

Hi, when does the entertainment / shows become available on the crusie planner so that I can book a time and date.
