    Hi John,

Yes it was a hard time then however brought forth a great life with world wide opportunities to travel, for the life of me can't remember the ship but thought it may have been the Larg's Bay. (Or was that Elder Dempster? )

Funny thing was still in touch with one of the guys from the Vindy after 68 years but he passed two years ago, we both shipped out of London King Edward docks on the same ship three year after the Vindy.

Were you one too , & did you have the sea day on her.

No I wasn't on the Vindi, I went to the Worcester at thirteen and a half in 1959. The Largs Bay was a Shaw Savill ship.

My wife and I were booked on Costa Fortuna from Amsterdam on 31st May to Norway, I dont think it will happen,

Hopefully next year, in the meantime take care, we are in to our third week of lockdown here in New Zealand

I plan to travel with Costa Cruise on this Apr. But my itinerary has two ports of Italy, Bari and Venice. I demand a refund or credit to Costa Cruises as I will not put in risk the safety of my whole family. I have already contacted travel agency, but there was no flexible cancellation policy in Costa.

Many other companies introduced flexible policy(full refund, full credit, change the schedule in 12~15months ). But, where is Costa Cruises? I cannot find this name in the list(https://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/news/5151/).... Anyone who know the change or update of cancellation policy of Costa Cruises?

There has been no update or change by COSTA Cruises , that is exactly what I'm waiting for too.

Other Carnival subsidiaries such as Holland America and Princess have introduced flexible cancellation

  4. It is noted that several CARNIVAL owned  companies Princess and Holland America  are offering Future Cruise Credit for people who are booked to sail in the next 2-3 months,in other words you can cancel your cruise and use the credit to sail another day. I see Norwegian and Disney are now offering similar types of choice. Well done these lines.

Is is not the time for COSTA to wake up and also be responsible and offer similar?
