  1. That is helpful! Thank you! How many did you invite?? I’m wondering what type of return people get on longer cruises!

We invited 100 but we knew not everyone would come and we were ok with that. As for 7 vs 4 day remember the short cruises tend to be more of a party, so it depends on what your looking for.

  2. Length of cruise for wedding cruise?? How long are your wedding cruises and how many attendees do you all anticipate? None of my family lives in Florida, so everyone will have to fly to port. We are debating between a 4 day and a 7 day cruise. Do any of you have a 7 day that looks like it will have a good guest turn out?

    Thanks!!

We are doing a 7 day and have 38 people booked.

  3. We are getting married in May 2019. Devyn contacted the ship and they gave her a ceremony room and reception room and times for both. Although we don't like the ceremony room but that seems to be the only real option for our group size and the time constraints due to the ship being within 12 nautical miles of land for a large portion of the day

We were finally given a time and venue for our ceremony and reception. The HUGE suprise is they are both outdoors on the waterfront! I'm excited it's outdoors but waiting to hear of they have an alternative location if the weather is bad.

  4. That all sounds so exciting!! So far we've been in contact with our coordinator Joanna who has been AMAZING and answers all of my questions within a day or two. We're set on having a DJ for our reception and will likely pay to keep the photographer for longer than the hour included in our package.

The waiting is the worst part! I feel like it's a lot of nothing to do for a long time :(:(:(

What are you all planning in the meantime?

I feel ya on the waiting part! We're getting married in February 2019 on Norwegian Bliss. I've been taking my time planing and doing little things.

  5. We just booked our wedding for August 2019 on the escape having a legal at sea ceremony.

Where on the ship are you having your wedding? We have been assigned amanat from royal events.

I would also refuse an 11am wedding.....I want late afternoon.

We were also assigned Amanat.... She wasent very personable.. I sent a email last week and was told she's no longer with the company and we were given another coordinator.
