Hi All,
My first cruise will leave out of the Manhattan Cruise terminal in about two weeks, I did the online check in and selected the earliest arrival time. What can I expect from the security, check in, and boarding process?
Never even been through airport security and check in before so I don't really have anything to compare it too. Any tips would be appreciated, i heard the wait can be crazy for boarding a cruise.
Thanks!!

Hi all,
Will be on the NCL Gem soon. Was curious to know how late the pools and Jacuzzis are open? Also, when would you suggest I visit to pool if I want to avoid the crowds?
Thanks! :D

Which policy?
I went to their website and they offer 8 different policies.
Each one differing based upon the needs of each traveler.
Hi, im leaning towards their medical plan, which would give me "travel medical insurance for emergencies – but not trip cancellation insurance"

Hi!! Has anyone ever used Roamright to insure their cruise trip?
Did you make a claim? If so, how was your experience?
Mostly concerned about medical claims, just to be on the safe side. Don't think there will be any reason for me to cancel my trip.
Thanks!! :)

Hi! Im going to be a first time cruiser this summer, going on the Norwegian Gem, leaving out of the New York City Cruise Terminal.
I've been doing some research and found horror stories of checked bags not making it onto the boat, and guests having to go 7 days without their clothes and other personal items.
To avoid this, and because I didn't wish to pay the $89 per person travel insurance, I want to just keep my suit case with me as I embark. Has anyone else done this? Would you recommend it? Is this allowed? or do they force you to give your suit case to a porter?
PS: I will only be bringing my tote bag and a small suite case.
Many Thanks!!:*
Is taking water and snacks off the ship allowed?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Hi!!
Super excited to sail on the Carnival Dream ship this summer! Im trying to stay within my budget and think that bringing a refillable water bottle and some prepackaged snack (chips/candy) with me to the the beach to munch on while we are in Mohagany Bay Roatan can help save a few bucks. I know I can bring them ON the ship, but would Carnival allow me to bring water and snacks OFF the ship onto the island?
