  1. Ok. I'm super confused. We booked our excursions online for POA (a while ago) but also have this excursion credit. Will they just put the $$ into an onboard account after each day? Or do I need to call this magical phone number and tell them to do it?

UPDATE: I did call NCL yesterday and they said it was fine that I booked online. They will give us an OBC each day after our excursion is completed. We can then use that money to pay for whatever we want onboard. If we don't use it all, they will issue a refund check after the cruise.

  2. So me and the wife are sailing on the July 1st sailing of Pride of America. We are currently trying to decide which excursions to go on. We are only looking at NCL excursions, just to not deal with anything. I am interested in what excursions people that have sailed in the last year or two that they liked a lot and the ones that they didn't. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

I'm sailing on the April 14 POA and we're doing a bunch of NCL excursions. I'll let you know which ones we liked the best when we get back! We are doing mostly active excursions: kayaking, zip lining, rapelling, etc.

  3. We are planning to bring bottles on board and pay the stupid $15 corkage fee. We will be drinking cheap wine, but it will be the cheap wine of our choice rather than whatever POA offers. And it will be in our cabin rather than having to purchase in a bar. This is an active cruise. We anticipate a couple of glasses of wine before whatever dinner we can find and then going to bed early so we can get up early again the next day. We're too old to function actively for a week on just wanting to.

I think that's what I'm leaning towards too...

  4. I cruise on the POA in about 3 weeks! We're definitely interested in how the wine package works. (the people I've talked to at NCL don't know what I'm talking about) Could you choose what brands of wine you got with that? Still debating bringing our own and just paying the stupid $15 corkage fees...
