Hi there
My wife & I are due to go on our very first cruise nextyear – 2 weeks in the Caribbean.;p
We are in the process of compiling a playlist for ourIPhones/IPods for us to listen to whilst away & more importantly, get us inthe mood for the cruise – we have some Bob Marley & Jimmy Buffett.in mind
So, we are now asking you far more experienced cruisers thisvery simple question – what music do you have on your playlist(s) that you canpass on & recommend to us?
Also, if possible, we are looking for track suggestions forthe following –
Embarkation
Sail away party
Disembarkation
Many, many thanks in advance

Guys
We aren’t scheduled togo onto our first Caribbean cruise with TUI (Marella) until next year :p but weare looking to start compiling a playlist of music for our Ipods/Iphones tohelp get us into the mood
So as the titlesuggests, can anyone provide us with the names of the music played on theirlatest cruise (or any cruise for that matter) or suggestions to help build up ourplaylist?
If anyone has aplaylist of their own we’d gladly accept that as well (which could be PM'd tome if this is possible) but we will be mainly looking at the usual suspects for aCaribbean cruise music wise such as Bob Marley, UB40, Jimmy Buffett etc
Also out of curiosity, does anyone have any suggestions for the following playlists –
Embarkation
Sail away Party
Disembarkation
So it’s over to youguys – here’s to many, many wonderful playlist suggestions!!! & apologies ifthis has been asked before but I’m new to CruiseCritic
Thanks in advance

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread - fun! Packing can stress me out, but not nearly as much as it used to. I keep a bag of toiletries packed - before each trip I refill any applicable items. I have a list I keep on my computer that I print out for each cruise. Over the past few years I've really streamlined the list by making notes after each trip of what we took but didn't need and what we took and actually needed/used, especially when it comes to clothes. We are now to the point that we use all we take and take no more than we need, except for meds. I wouldn't want to be stuck at sea and run short on those. If we drive to our embarkation port, we now only need one large suitcase and one carry-on. When we fly we try to get by with one checked and carry the rest so that we are staying w/in weight limits with the checked piece. A couple of months ago this list file became corrupted, and it wouldn't open. OMG! Panic attack! I FINALLY got it to open in plain text so that I just had to reformat it. Whew! No way could I have recreated all of that from memory! I only begin packing a day or two prior and that's everything but the clothes. We shove the selected clothes into the suitcase the morning that we leave. Taking no more than we need also makes it much easier and faster when packing the last day of the cruise to go home. This system works great for us, although I do agree unpacking post cruise is sad. :(
Mrs H - as a newbie to cruising, can I beg, borrow or steal a copy of your packing list please
