With all of the things being taken away by Princess we no longer have any incentive to stay loyal to the line. We will now be comparison shopping for the best deal available through all cruise lines.

What is does do is eliminate price reductions for a longer period of time. Price reductions generally do not apply after final payment date. So if the final payment date is 15 days sooner, that is 15 more days booked passengers cannot take advantage of lower pricing if it occurs.

I received a price reduction after making final payment on last cruise. No problem.

We cruised on the Royal in January. There was a substantial price decrease after we had made final payment. Princess credited the difference back to my credit card with no problem whatsoever.
