Hi! Would like to read about Labadee. Would someone mind putting the link to find the destination guide/boards, for Labadee? Thanks!

Hello all! What are the choices of where to watch the US Open Men's finals tomorrow afternoon? What about with the biggest screen? Thanks :)

As the ship is just now sailing we may not have people on CC back yet who can post drink menus.
But I'll hazard to guess they are no different from Oasis or Harmony in each of the bars. You may find some different brands more to European tastes while in the Med though.
Good point - didn't realize the ship was just out for the first time.
Would you know where I can find links to the drink menus, especially the beers & spirits, on the Oasis? Thanks.

Okay, I did it. I had this picture of more of a view looking out from my aft balcony, but after seeing the bigger cabin, and bigger balcony on the Signature, well.... There was only one cabin available, amidships, 6th floor, stbd side.
Oh, and no Neptunes were available. Thanks all!

For 18 days probably. The extra space will be nice. Or, better yet, ask what the upsell for a Neptune Suite is. Let us know what you decide.
How much more do you think the Neptune will be, if they have it?

Where are you going on the cruise? Panama Canal, I would keep the aft! Never have been in a Signature, so I can’t speak on the value or difference

Transatlantic, leaving this Sunday.

Forget the aft ... get the Suite. Call NOW!
That's a great price.
Okay, I looked at the pics. It has a ton of floor space.
Do I care where it is on the ship? Or I won't have a choice?

Hi! Just now received an offer ($199pp) to upgrade from our aft facing balcony cabin to a signature suite. What will be the difference? I was kind of looking forward to facing aft.... Thanks :)

I'm on the Zuiderdam next week :)
When I called to book the cruise, about 3 weeks ago I was told then by the HAL agent that the only internet available on the Zuiderdam is blocks of 1,000 minutes for $250. Since then, I've spoken with Ship Services and been advised that that is no longer the case on 3 of the HAL ships so far, including the Zuiderdam. Now these 3 ships (sorry, didn't ask which other ones) have the tiered plans - social $14.99, surf $24.99, premium $29.99 - these are daily rates, and you can use the WiFi on any device, switching back and forth between them/logging in and out. You purchase this on board. I'll confirm this once I'm on board. Thanks!

(bold is mine) You'll probably see crew in there stocking up on personal items and snacks. I remember at one of the ports on our Australia cruise, there was a supermarket within sight of the ship. Lots of crew coming back with grocery bags with things like Doritos visible sticking up from the bag.
That doesn't surprise me a bit - when you 'need' a Dorito, well..... Lol For me I usually 'need' crackers (saltines preferred, or table water, or triscuits), some cheeses for said crackers, plain potato chips, perhaps a chocolate bar..... My first port is Bermuda with 2 sea days before that, and a good number of sea days afterwards.... Let's see if I'm finding a grocery store in Bermuda, or not :)

Ahoy! Is there a roof/overhang/shade over the balcony on the 8th floor aft facing balcony cabins? Zuiderdam. Thanks!

I really wish there were an unlimited plan. Next time! Meanwhile, thanks for the suggestion of 'testing' the internet speed with the HA site first before using more of my minutes.
-
The internet packages vary by ship, I guess? When I booked for Zuiderdam I was told it was $250 for 1,000 minutes, was the most you could buy at a time, and there's no option for different speeds of internet. Guess I'll see how it goes :)

This has turned into a great thread - thanks everyone :)
It sounds like there will be what I need for any late night snacks - between chocolate covered strawberries, cheeses, salamis, chips, nacho chips, possibly popcorn..... I have decided not to bring any snacks, just bring some zip top bags, and a few smaller disposable plastic boxes with lids, for storage, and see how that goes. If need be, I'll hit the grocery stores in port :)

Hello! Assuming one is even available, would we want a cabana on our cruise? I suppose I'm thinking it won't be warm enough to be outside for extended periods. Are there any tips on which one to pick, or cabana choice in general? Thanks.

Hello! Cruising on the Zuiderdam this month, and wondering - where, if anywhere, can I pick up crackers, cheese, salami, potato chips, candies, chocolates, a few sushi, olives.... or any other snack idea things to take back to my cabin, or have by my deck chair? Thanks :)
Oasis - tomorrow - how early can I board?
