Would a skort be okay since it looks like a skirt? Just a thought if anyone might know.

I think you will like Lufthansa. We flew their business to Barcelona a couple years ago via Munich. The service was wonderful. Even provided a night shirt!
Their website should advise where they have lounges.
enjoy!

I wouldn’t worry about it. If I’m onboard and someone starts talking politics I walk away. Leave them to it. Most people are trying to have a good time. You’ll just have to endure that some will be happy with whatever outcome and others won’t.😁

We had an interesting one recently with Silversea. We must have received 3 emails with itinerary port changes. Then 3+ weeks out we get a call from our TA with a heads up that due to the Jones Act the cruise would end in Vancouver not SF. They offered a full refund, discounted fare or 10% up on future booking. Very strange the line did not know the reprieve of the Jones Act had expired. We opted to cancel, it worked best for us.

We have celebrated anniversaries on Seabourn. They do a fabulous job. 25th Anniversary complete with private menu and a renewal of vows ceremony with 12 people attending. No extra charges.
We love the size of their ships. We did the Encore from Athens in 2022. Stops in Croatia, Greece and Italy.
I hope you find something that works for you.

I always take my Rx in those daily dispensers. I have just put them in my carryon and have never been questioned. I’ve never even had them pulled out and questioned. Neither has my husband. If I take my vitamins I put them in small snack bags and label them D, C, etc.
re liquids. I think you would need to keep to the allowed size unless you put in your checked bag. Just my view.

The best one I have found is the Chase Sapphire Reserve but it is a meh policy overall. It works for some travel but I don't think the coverage is sufficient for most cruises. I had a cruise with one foreign port and did not buy a more comprehensive policy but I can't think of another itinerary I would count on it.
We also use Chase Sapphire. On top of that we purchase an annual travel policy. Hopefully if the need arose the two would work together to cover our needs.

Watching the flight crews pre-board, I see many using Travel Pro.
Our IT 2-wheel carry-on-size soft-siders have been around the world multiple times; fortunately still going strong, as they no longer make 2-wheel.
A flight attendant friend recommended them😁

I bought a Travel Pro for my husband. Nice quality. I bought a full size travel Pro for myself and they were fabulous on the warranty when the retractable handle stuck

I had to chase mine but I presumed that was because I renewed online in 2020. I know in the end it was a simple video chat with an officer who asked to see my passport and old GE card. After that the new card arrived in days. If you have any phone number available for follow up I’d suggest you give it a try and see if it progresses. Good luck!

A few clothes pins might be helpful with the drying also.

Quick hints:
For non-delicates, when you take a shower (especially when you wash your hair), put a few items on the shower floor before starting the water.
Then let the assorted soap product(s) flow right onto those clothes.
And then... make like Lucy in the I Love Lucy "grape stomping" episode.
That is, stomp around on them, let the water and soap really get into them.
Then the reverse as you rinse off. If the water isn't clear for the clothing, then either get some more exercise 😉 or just rinse them by hand a bit more in the shower (or tub).
Before drying... open up a couple of bath towels (ask for more if needed). Wring by hand anything that can be safely done, for starters. Then lay out the wet clothing, spread out nicely. Then ROLL the clothing/towel so there is a layer of towel between every layer of clothing.
Then... take the roll, and... do a bit more gentle stomping so a lot of the water is transferred to the towel. 🙂
There should be a little extension cord in the shower or tub to hang clothing on.
Heavy clothing may take a bit longer to dry if you are in a very humid area.

We have met cruisers from Florida and they say they do last minute bookings because it’s easy for them to get to port etc. I know they do this through a TA or the cruise line by phone. Does anyone here know the time frame needed for that? The way they talk I know it’s weeks, not days. Since we book sometimes a year in advance, last minute for us would mean a month away. I’m sure logistics these days requires the line to have time to issue tickets etc

Are any of the larger suites on Seabourn able to accommodate 3 people?

I agree with CDNPolar. Your body clock needs to get on the new time.
We do the same thing. Go for a walk. Have an early drink and dinner then bed about 9.
Happy Anniversary!

We now carry a tube of super glue. Hubby had a pair of sunglasses break and a fellow passenger had super glue and since then it’s been on our permanent packing list in a small bag I pack non essential toiletries to pack.
Also, a few clothes pins to hold wet bathing suits better on the line over the tub.

No but can I suggest you think about the Churchill War Rooms as a site to visit. Absolutely fascinating.

We love Seabourn. Never done Alaska on them but cannot imagine it would not be their usual standard.

This is a great thread. I wondered about the question, but some of the information is useful and fun!

Ditto that. We just arrived Miami today and GE is incredible. Facial recognition and you’re on your way.

That is something only you can decide. How much do you fly?
We fly 4 to 8 round trips a year. We have Global Entry, and absolutely think it's worth it.

On all inclusive cruises, (Seabourn, Silversea, Regent) we still leave our cabin attendants something at the end of the cruise. We put it in an envelope with a note of thanks. We also give to the Crew Fund. This is used for various outings, etc that include crew that work hard behind the scenes.

It was a personal reason, not a change through courts. The affidavit wasn’t as long as the form you show, but if that works then you’ll get the same result. Hope it all goes smoothly. Bright side. You should only need to do this once!
