Quite right, I forgot. We stayed at the cruise port one on 10th Avenue.

Anyone looking for a pre or post-cruise hotel, I can recommend Hyatt Place. Very nice room, friendly people - good breakfast too! Airport and Cruise port shuttle ($). I’d stay there again.

Yet to take the test, and I know all will be revealed at the time, but I’m just a curious person. When taking a proctored test for two people (we’re using Lifecenters if it matters) do you both sit in front of the camera and swab away at the same time, or do you sit down one at a time?

The two of us depart to FLL in September for a 14 day B2B - and after the horror stories about luggage going on it’s own vacation (looking at you Pearson) we going to try and do it with carry-on only. It’ll be tight for sure, and we’re doing a mock ‘pack’ to see… should be interesting…..

Very happy to see that Guinness was shown as available in the pub on Allure.

Quick question ‘cos it’s been so long I can’t remember. Flying from Calgary to Fort Lauderdale via Toronto - do you clear US customs & immigration in Calgary or Toronto ?

Greetings! On our last cruise with RCL we had lunch in Chops on embarkation day. It was great, and avoided the inevitable crowds in the buffet. What’s the equivalent with Carnival (we’ll be on the Sunrise) - what’s usually open for embarkation day lunch?
Hyatt Place FLL - thumbs up

The shuttle to the cruise port was $9 pp. It was our first cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, so we were looking for ease and convenience - no doubt there may be less expensive options.
