Not arguing just saying never had it happen.
Didn't mean it argumentatively. Just trying to show what I'm seeing on the website.

I rebooked an excursion for our Feb 23 sailing for additional savings. The black Friday deal had it for 35% off. We had previously booked at a 15% discount. This ended up being around a $60 savings. Instead the total went from $304 to $310. I ran the math and determined they charged me 24% additional in taxes and gratuities from the base price, equaling 18% gratuities and 6% sales tax. Is this new? I didn't get charged gratuities when we originally booked the excursion.

We had an Oceanview for 4 on Serenade and it was 2 Pullmans and a king that could be split into two twins.
Great to hear, thank you!

The RCCL website has deck plans for each ship but they are not very specific as to whether a particular cabin has the Pullmans or the sofa bed. There is another website that I don't think I can name here but it has more specific details on the sleeping accommodations for the 3rd and 4th persons. Are you are willing to say what cabin number you have?
We let RCCL choose, so we won't know till later. It will be a 3N category I believe. There's an error in the wording on the website.

It will take the last nine days of a ten day cruise to sleep it off. You better get the IV ready for re-hydration.
They should really offer re-hydration on board, would be sold out.

Serenade OTS Feb 18, 2023 has the Deluxe beverage package down from 67.99 2 weeks ago, then to 63.99 last week, and now with the spooky savings 59.99. Not bad

We recently booked an Oceanview for the Feb 18, 2023 sailing. We chose to let RC pick our room due to the huge savings. $155 pp instead of $256. Can anyone tell us what the sleeping arrangements are for a family of 4 in an Oceanview? I've heard mixed answers. Pullout sofa, with a Pullman bed or an upper and lower Pullman bed. TIA

Crazy to think, for the price I pay for my wife and I to drink on a 4 day cruise I could buy 6 or 7 fantastic bottles of whiskey. I recently booked the Serenade for Feb 18th and paid $68 pp pd. Today it dropped to $64 pp pd. Cancelled and repurchased. Just keep an eye on it.

Our first cruise was on a NCL open bar cruise. We tipped a dollar everytime we got a drink. The bartenders would always rush to serve us.

It never hurts to ask. On trips where we were eating dinner in the WJ on a regular basis we were able to order special items with a days' notice.
I'll have to do that, thanks for the idea!

Just got back from July 27th cruising. I was worried about mojitos being premixed. I found Champs bar always made them fresh and delicious, plus the bartenders we upbeat and fun. Check out the decks along the sides of level 6, where you do the muster drill. They are empty at night and it's a nice place to enjoy the quite and watch the water. The bar at the entrance to cagneys opens around 5:30 and serves up some unique drinks. I loved the spicy margarita. No extra charge. If you are staying on the 4th floor closer to aft, don't bother waiting for the elevator, just go up the stairs 1 flight to have access to 4 elevators. The Spinnaker lounge has a really yummy bar snack mix, make sure to ask for some. Thats all I can think of for now. Have fun!

5 days till Sun! So excited, first cruise ever!

Has anyone confirmed the $100 obc? It was in the email, but I was speaking to a rep on the phone today and they said they are not offering any compensation for the change. The shore excursions credit is pretty weak now that we only have 1 actual destination. Oh well, lesson learned.

It's 80 days still. Just received my email today, cruise is July 27.

I think how they handled it was a bit extreme. I for one will never cruise with Carnival.
