Didn’t really know where the water came from-window washing or pool -but it was a real p—-in the a— to walk out into a puddle in the mornings! Guest services were pretty poor when we reported it for the second & third times. Our cabin guy cleared it as well as he could but it came back & he was soooo busy with other cabins( lots of very full family cabins as Xmas cruise!) so we didn’t like to keep bothering him! Thus we paddled or avoided using the balcony. Shame really.

Noted. Will be crossing my fingers that we have a better experience.

  2. Planning on a cruise on the Divina next June. It would be with my 2 adult daughters in their early 20's and my mother who is in her late 70's. We'd be getting 2 balcony cabins and the aft balcony cabins have a larger balcony which appeals to all of us. There is a review, several years old here on cruise critic, that the aft cabin balcony needed to be constantly mopped up because of overflow/drip from the pool on deck 15. Is this still the case? I'm looking at cabins on deck 11, can anyone let me know what their experience was?

  3. Looking to cruise on the Seaview in May 2020 sailing out of Barcelona. There will be 4 of us, 2 cabins. We won't be using the children's program and we rarely use room service. I don't mind the price difference but is there actually a benefit to getting Fantastica?

I would also like more info on the early and late dining times for Mediterranean sailings. As in what are times? Thanks.

3 night cruise?   why would they need netflix or spotify?    enjoy what the ship has to offer.

    The following restrictions apply:

    • Cannot access most websites and email
    • Does not support access to video streaming (Netflix, Hulu), music streaming (Spotify, Pandora), iMessage, Facetime, Skype
    •  WiFi packages can only be accessed by one device at a time.
    •

One like to watch before bed, the other loves her music. They know enough to have some downloaded to enjoy.

I had been hoping to check email but as you said we'll enjoy the ship. Thanks.

  5. The loungers on deck 8 tended to fill up more slowly, especially earlier in the week before most people knew they were there. Same with the loungers on deck 19. The different pool and water play areas spaced people out pretty well, I thought.

No staff was reclaiming chairs or removing belongings that I could see.

Sent from my SM-G930T using Forums mobile app

Were there any outside areas with lounge chairs that were not in direct sun?

  6. Just a short taxi ride away are miles of beaches along the Brevard county coast line. There is also kayak adventures on both the Banana river and the intercoastal waterway a mile or two away, fishing (both deep sea and inland waterway). There is a cute little walking town in Cocoa Village with shops and cafes about 6 miles away. Air boat rides about 17 miles away down state road 520, which also has a local favorite restaurant on site with fried catfish right at the air boat docks.

Walking distance (assuming you are docked at T#1) are many restaurants and cafes, plus Exploration tower with exhibits and a great view from the top.

All good suggestions! Someone had mentioned that we'll be too far away to walk, which would have been my choice but will definitely check the rest. Thanks.

  7. Hi all. We're a little over a week away from our Adventure of the Seas cruise. Any tips or suggestions for Port Canaveral? Traveling with my husband and daughters who would be fine with napping the day away or staying by the pool. This leads to my next question, does anyone know how much a day pass for the spa is and what exactly is included etc. Thanks.

  8. Hi all!

I just spoke with an online Rep from Atlantis at Atlantis Bahamas dot Com.

Tickets for the Aquarium are $42 and they are the same price whether you purchase them on line or "at the door".

Online the "time" available says 9 am. That is the time the Aquarium opens. You can go any time you like.

If you just show up you need to show you are sailing on a cruise ship.

    HLR

That's good to know. Thank you.

  9. Hello!

What website are you finding just aquarium tickets? I've been searching and can't find that. I was under the impression you could no longer do "the dig" and aquarium without an excursion tour. Please prove me wrong!

    HLR

It's actually on the Atlantis website but I just checked and the only available time is 9AM.

  10. We were there last year and the cab was $5 for 2 each way. Cost less then the water taxi, which is a overcrowded cattle car. Cab is a 10 minute ride and the water taxi takes close to 30 minutes with wait time, and they bug the crap out of you for a tip. There is still plenty to see at Atlantis without paying for the aquarium.

Good to know. I had been thinking of the ferry going over but not anymore.

  11. It won't cost much to get there, but it will cost a bundle to see the aquarium.

The info I have from the website is $42 pp. Do you happen to know if it's the same price bought there as it is purchased online?

  12. When we went, we took a cab over. I can't remember exact price but I don't recall that it was very expensive. My kids really liked the aquarium.

Thanks. The aquarium is all we're really interested in. Good to know it won't cost that much to get there.

  13. Either would be fine. Regular taxi is a shorter walk from the cruise terminal. At Atlantis, you may have to wait a while for the water taxi.

Thank you. We'll probably take a taxi from Atlantis then.
