They recognised Anzac Day ? I’m impressed.
As Australians, what are your observations of the trip and passengers? I’ve heard that people can be pushy. I’m loving your posts, many thanks.

Hello,
Embarking and disembarking in Stockholm and Tallinn went very smoothly. For Saint-Petersburg you have to calculate a waiting time of one hour and a half. It was a real hassle to get all the people through customs. Nothing to blame MSC about.
Kiel in Germany was a disaster. It took us more than an hour to get off the ship. There was only one line for transit guests and disembarkation guests. The organization was poor.
When we got back in the terminal, we had to wait outside for a bus (!) to take us back to ship (20 meters further away). Apparently a security thing...
When you take an organized tour (not MSC) you can get off as soon as those who booked an MSC excursion. You don't have to wait.
Food is nice, most of the times hot enough, but not wauw. But we are real foodies so that's very personal. The buffet was very crowded at breakfast and lunch.
Most of the people were German and Spanish. Fewer Italians than I'm used to. Most of the time they were all very nice and friendly, not rude at all. The main language on board was English because that was the common language for most of them.

My overall experience is very good. The ship is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly.
Many thanks Els, this is much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Best wishes.

Thanks Els, that’s kind of you. Other than what Pukeolive has asked:
1. What is the embarking and disembarking like when visiting a port?
2. How do they organise those who will do a company organised tour ?
3. How would you rate th food?
4. Are fellow passengers pushy or rude?
5. What are your overall impressions of the ship and the cruise?
Many thanks in advance :)

We are going on Preziosa in August 2018 for 23 days starting in Copenhagen and ending in Barcelona. Keep a look out for our blog and review when we go.

I’ll be on Preziosa in July for 15 days. I might not blog, but feel free to ask me anything you may be curious about. There isn’t a lot on this site about the Preziosa in comparison to ships that are ex the USA.

Hi Bea. It seems like the cruise was very much a mixed bag for you and your husband. I'm really surprised at the Singapore carry on as I had always believed them to be ultra efficient and tourist friendly. Thanks for the detailed report , it was very interesting. Ken
Same, as an old Asia hand, I found it most interesting. Thanks for the post Bea, it’s all good information.

Hi, I’m doing a Baltic cruise with MSC, with a shore visit almost every day. What is free, public WIFI like in places such as Norway and the Nordic countries ? Thanks in advance.

I’m travelling as a single. MSC happily sold me a ticket, so long as I paid for the whole cabin, no discount was given when I rang them to ask. I don’t mind, a decent double upgrade has made it better value.
Bravo! Orchestra! Review with pictures of Med Cruise April 18-29, 2018.

Thanks Kathleen. Americans are honorary Aussies anyway ;)
