Heading into port in a few hours. How far is it to Jack’s Shack? How long of a walk from the cruise terminal? We had planned on renting a cart but have decided against it. Which way do we turn when we leave the terminal? Thanks in advance for any info!

I’m not clear on how debarkation works. Do you choose your time or is a time assigned to you? Does putting your luggage out the night before affect your debarkation time? And what about FTTF? Does that get you off the ship any quicker and, is it worth it? What gets you through customs quicker; an earlier or later debarkation time? Sorry about all the questions. Any info is greatly appreciated.

They did broadcast World Cup games in the sports bar on our Glory 6/16 sailing. That said, the sports bar wasn't open all hours, and my men only got to watch games on the two sea days as the bar was not open while we were in port, and even on sea days it didn't open until noon.

Is the finals day a port day? Then you might want to find a bar in port. If it's a sea day, you might miss the first hour. And be prepared for a crowd, the place was full for the games we did get to watch.

Thanks. Final is on Sunday, which is a Sea day but, I believe the game airs at 10am. Ugh.

We will be on the Carnival Magic on the day of the World Cup final. We are big soccer fans and would hate to miss it. Will there be a broadcast of the game Sunday morning (7/15)?

There are other companies you can rent from and put a deposit down or pay in full now to guarantee you one, if it'd make you feel better. Personally we only use Karib.

Carnival allows you to bring a 12 pack aboard.

I’m just wondering what most people do, bring ther soft drinks with them or pay the outrageous price of $10 for a 6 pack. Thoughts?

My DH needs a fan at night to sleep. I’m looking for suggestions/recommendations on a travel fan. He likes the white noise as much as the air circulating. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I see so many opting to bring some sort of over the door organizers to store their toiletries. Is this really necessary? Is there virtually no room for our things? Shelving of any kind?

Yes. One bathroom has toilet, shower and sink; second has small tub/shower and sink. EM

Does this stateroom have two sinks with mirrors.

From the end of the pier if you turn left I would say it is a 1-2 minute walk to the closest stop.
