  1. Hope all you fellow cruisers are doing well. My wife and I booked a 4-night cruise on the Infinity, along with her parents. The cruise leaves on Sunday, and returns the day of thanksgiving. Has anyone been on a cruise during the week of Thanksgiving? Do they have a traditional thanksgiving meal in the MDR even if you are not technically at sea on the actual day?

    Thanks!

  2. I’m sorry if it is already posted, but anyone recently on the Disney Magic see the cost of their official model ship (assuming they sell them onboard)? I’ve been starting a collection, after buying models of the first two ships I have been on.

    Thanks!

  3. I have booked rooms for our cruise June 30-July7th, 2019. I'm a little concerned about the rooms the TA put my daughter and her friend in. The rest of us have balcony rooms and are on deck 8 near aft elevator, which is perfect for me.

We did an interior room for my daughter and friend. They are in 8549. I'm concerned with the motion that far forward. It will be both of their birthdays while we are on this cruise and I would hate for them to both get sea sick due to cabin location. The cost to move them more mid ship is outrageous but I can always monitor price and if it drops move them but would prefer not to as this has already cost a pretty penny already.

Is staying in the forward part of the ship really as bad as everyone tells me it is?

We stay in 7402 forward on Harmony a few weeks ago. The motion was noticeable at times, but not too bad. I rarely get motion sick, however my wife does. She had trouble the first day, but Dramamine took care of it. As long as the weather isn't bad, I'd expect it to be fine. IMO, with it being such a large ship, the movement is less intense.

  4. Awesome thank you so much for your reply!

How was your experience at 150 Central Park? That is one of the ones I want.

150 Central Park was very good. This was only our second cruise, so I do not have much to liken it to. I thought the food and service was comparable as Murano on Celebrity. They offer a salt assortment with their food which was unique. It had 7 salts, all with different tastes. Their desserts were not my favorite though. I think it was certainly worth the BOGO price.

  5. We just got off Harmony last week, and did the BOGO dining package. They do pick the restaurant reservations for you at first, and you will not know what you have until the first day of the cruise.

All we had to do was go talk to people at the MDR on Deck 5 (Silk), where they had people set up managing reservations for all restaurants. We went there as soon as we got on the ship. We were booked on Izumi and Sabor, but managed to switch to 150 Central Park and Wonderland with no problems or questions asked. Ended up eating at 2 $45 PP restaurants for $40 PP combined.
