  1. I purchased travel insurance for my daughter who took a land trip for a month to Peru with Allianz. She got sick and went to a clinic in Cusco the bill was only $360 but Aiilanz paid us the entire amount right away. I had to submit the claim 1st to our primary insurance company blue cross and they took 2 months to deny it.

  2. We were on the same itinerary March 4-11 2017 and liked the ship. I have only been on one other RCCL cruise and it was the Navigator which was newer and bigger. The Rhapsody inside cabin 7063 was the smallest cabin I have ever been on and I have been on about 10 cruises Celebrity, Princess, NCL and Carnival. We never heard any noise outside our cabin and I liked the location. The Rhapsody was fine for myself and 2 other friends in our mid 50's and 60. We ate dinner in the main dining room each night and twice on sea days for lunch which we liked. The shows were fun I like that they have live music, the 2 comedians were really good. Between the Navigator and the Rhapsody I probably liked the Navigator a bit more but would go on the Rhapsody again if I liked the itinerary.

  3. I am reading about how wonderful Coral Breeze Tour operator in Belize is to go out to the little Island or snorkel.

However, then sometime around August it appears they started having some kind of major problems with their times and the boat breaking down etc. To the point that The Wet Lizard were no longer letting them use their location for meet up's in Belize City.

Wondering IF anyone has used them in past 3-4 months and what the experience was - where did you meet them? Sometimes tour operators have some problems and get them worked out quickly. Other times they start having financial problems and just go down from there.

Would love to hear from some recent cruise critic members who have used Coral Breeze tours and what your experience was . . .

Got back from cruise Sat March 11 2017 and used Coral Breeze to go to Caulker Caye snorkeling. It was easy to meet up with them there were 24 people on our boat over. It was a bumpy but nice ride over. There were lots of Sting rays and nurse sharks. I was in the middle of about 10 nurse sharks and they were being fed chum from our guide on the boat, one bit 3 of my fingers enough to hurt, swell up, and bleed. Had I known they could bite I never would have gotten as close as I did. Except for the bites I liked the tour. The second snorkel spot was not as fun as the rays and sharks, the water was rough. They got us back in plenty of time to catch the tender back to the cruise ship. I would use them again.

  4. With air prices up; hotel prices up and cruise prices up -- we have stop going to South Florida Xmas -- the end of March*. We are going to Houston this spring break and LA for next Xmas. Cancelled a Celebrity cruise for March and an NCL cruise for Thanksgiving (all were leaving out of South Florida).

I have a "pending" spring break cruise for March, 2017. We will see how prices pan out.

    *as of now.

    Enjoy!

    Hi Kel,

I remember you and Lauren from our Celebrity Spring break cruise several years ago I when I was with my kids Abby and Amanda. They are now 21 and 18. I am booked in mid March on a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Ft Lauderdale and was surprised to see how high the hotels are. I am going with 2 friends, we are going to stay at a Residence Inn in Plantation and will rent a car as we get in the day before the cruise. We are flying back to Denver after the cruise through Miami, the FLL flights were all too expensive. Hope prices for cruises, hotels, and airfare come down again next year.

  5. Booked many months before the cruise. Got to port on Wednesday, walked up the hill and down again. Daniel and his aunt, Eunice, were there and waiting for us. Eunice gave us a great tour of the island. She was very easy to talk to and VERY accommodating. My wife is in a scooter, so the beaches were out. She took us to a resort, that had a pier type bridge my wife could roll around on. Then it was off to see the Monkeys, Sloth and other animals at Daniels. I got to hold the monkeys, we both got to hold a parrot and the wife was able to hold the sloth. It was the best part of our week long cruise!!! Then it was off to feed the iguanas..another great time. Thank you Eunice!! I hope you see this and we REALLY appreciate the time you gave us!!!

If you have someone in a wheelchair or a scooter, and you dont think there is anything to do on Roatan..please...please...please, look up Daniel Johnson on FB.

    Hi,

How did you get in contact with Eunice to book your tour with her we really want to go to the Monkey and Sloth hangout? Thanks

  6. My very first cruise I did not know you should book flights the day before your cruise. I was going from Chicago to Miami with a 2 hour lay over in DC. Do to a mechanical problem our plane from Chicago took off 2 hours late, so we thought we had missed our connection in DC. My daughters were so, so stressed being their first cruise as was I. We carried our luggage onboard so no luggage to collect which worked as they held the plane in DC for all us us going to Miami. The people who had checked luggage would not get it in Miami til the next day.

We now Always fly in the day before, the stress is so not worth saving a few hundred dollars for a hotel. No way to start off your vacation all stressed.
