Hi all! I’m on this sailing! Has anyone else received two confirmations and two cabin numbers?

It's part of the ship superstructure as there is a cover over the forward six deck 6 balconies which is shown in the first shot of Ovation's bow below. These six forward balconies are further out as shown on the deck six plan.
The second shot shows the same cover on Anthem. This I took from North Star on that ship.
The port side has the same cover but the deck 7 balcony cabins at the same locations are not listed as obstructed category ones. Only the three port hole balconies at the front are listed as obstructed. Try and figure out that.
Thank you so much!!! Some of the people traveling with me are first timers and this is important! If you’ve never slept in a cabin right above life boats believe me you hear them creaking at night!!

Looking down - they are not considered obstructed on Anthem.
Is it just some type of overhang or part of the ship beneath or are there life boats there? From the pictures of the ship if I'm counting right, there is just part of the ship that is below. I don't want the sound of lifeboats moving :)

Has anyone stayed in 7526 or 7530 obstructed view balconies on the Ovation of the Seas that could tell me what the obstruction is? It doesn't look to be a lifeboat.
Thanks!!

My sister, brother-in-law and their 3 kids had one on the Liberty. I can answer questions as well.
We are looking at booking the Royal Family Suite on Liberty. Can you tell me about the suite perks? Is there an honor bar in the concierge lounge available all day? What are the hours?
Does everyone in the room get crown and anchor points?
I know there are full room service menus. Is there a charge for room service?
Anything else outstanding about it?

We flew in to Hobby (not IAH) but did use RC transfers. We purchased in advance so not sure where to purchase on board but Guest Services would be a good place to start. Transfers in Oct. 2014 were $32 per person per way. If using RC transfers you will be given an early number to depart. All RC transfers are given early numbers. They want you off the ship and on the bus. The same bus will be picking up passengers at the airport to return to the ships in Galveston. Early in the day the buses fill quickly as all transfer people are getting off at the same time. We got to Hobby so early we had to wait a few hours to check in (similar departure time as yours). A 1PM departure should be easy.
TonyBuzz - Can you tell me a little bit about how it worked out when you flew into Hobby to go on the cruise? We have a flight that gets in around 8 AM the day of the cruise. I booked the transfer and was told on the phone anytime between 9 am and 12:30 but on the booking it says 12:30. So I am trying to be sure I am not going to be sitting at the airport until 12:30 that morning...

If you book the transfer and your flight gets into HOU around 9 AM, do you have to wait until 12:30 to go to Galveston or is it just as soon as the bus that's there fills up? My time on the transfer says 12:30.
Thanks!

We are not going until Feb.but I read that the RIU excursions is where alot of people got sick. We booked the Lifestlye vip If you do go please let us know if it is worth it.
Have a great trip!
Good to know! I will stick with Lifestyle and let you know how it goes!

We can't do the serenity because we have a kid with us. The review for that is great. I'm wondering if its at the same place because the reviews sound completely opposite but the pictures look mostly the same.

I have the Lifestyle VIP booked in 2 weeks on our cruise. I picked it after reading on trip advisor. But now that I'm looking at the reviews on Carnival's website I am considering changing to the RIU excursion. I hate to do that based on 1 bad review but that's all there is. Would love some input too!! But if I am travelling before you I would be happy to let you know how it is when I get back!

Does anyone have any good suggestions for what to do in San Juan on Thanksgiving day? Our ziplining excursion was cancelled today because of the holiday I assume. Thanks in advance!

We are booked on the New Years week sailing on the Magic. We are considering bringing the grandparents along. Is the price now the best we are going to see or is there a chance it will drop closer to time?

We have been taking our son on the carnival magic over the past few years but really would like to take a cruise on Royal Caribbean again. So far he hasnt been big on going to camp. Does anyone know if the Navigator is going to get the DreamWorks experience in the revitalization? Also as far as the pool deck, it is just swimming pools correct? No splash zone or slides of any kind?
Has anyone done both ships and had their kids be bored on the Navigator?
Anyone hear about simulation cruise on Independence?
