  1. Thank you for your honest review. I have been considering this ship for the ports...

How was the stability / motion? I get seasick and wore the patch on the Magic with 0 issues, but I worry on an older ship it might not work?

We were on the Sensation last week and I can assure you there were times where you could feel the waves... When the waves were head on there were no problems but when the waves were rolling across the ship from side to side the boat rocked. My kids who suffer from severe motion sickness did well with some Dramamine.

  2. Just returned from the Sensation. Our 8 year old boy really enjoyed the kids club. On the first day make a stop by to get the information sheet and make sure you are all set on who can check in/out the little one. You drop off and go when their times are available as published on the information sheet. On the day at sea it was open nearly all day and they have fun activities for the kids. Generally after 10pm you have to pay which we did not use.

  3. We were there last week and I agree with your comments. If you want 5 star this is not the ship. For us we went with our kids who had never been on a cruise before. We all had a great time. There were some pluses and minuses but I run into that on all vacations.

I thought the food was good overall but I could see that the food took some time to get delivered. I had the lobster tails one night and thought it was quite good.

I was pleasantly surprised with the kid options for our 8 and 15 year olds. For our 18 year old I was equally miffed that there was nothing organized for them. Carnival should do a meet up or something in one of the open bars or on the putt putt course or something. Would take about 1% effort if that.
