We had a fairly good experience with ezair my husband's flight from Reno to SFO was delayed and he did not make the connection to ft lauderdale It was 10 pm at night I called ezair and they located 3 flights that would get him to ft lauderdale for cruise the next day He made it to the pier for lunch in mdr the only glitch was that he was originally booked in first class, which was not available on the other flight After speaking with princess (took a couple phone calls and emails and a month or so) princess reimbursed him $250 plus $200 for each of us in fcc

We are sticking with Princess I do not take anything for granted anymore Flying can be dicey Having to test for covid is a pain Princess has had their problems but so have other cruise lines Princess took care of an ezair issue we had after contacting them a couple times We love being on board Nothing compares to it We are cruising in august quebec city to nyc We are hoping for the best but we know there could be issues We will deal with them as they arise We like princess, we like their ships (old and new), we like their crew, and their food is fine Go Princess!

For the last time I am aware of regulations, my original post should have made that quite clear. The one thing that was different was that when I went to my account page the new posting about vaccines and required testing. Granted I have no problem with being cautious, as I stated I had not had my morning coffee as of yet and that was the main purpose of my post. Early morning it just struck me wrong, just like people who read something and don't bother to understand. That is about all I have to say on the matter, happy safe sailing
We had a similar announcement pop up on our canada cruise I also thought it was about additional requirements but it was just a reminder of what I had already read Princess probably just wants to make sure passengers are notified "officially"

I am a fairly cautious person Since covid my husband and i have not gone to many restaurants and no indoor concerts we r vaxxed and boostered we are in our early 70s We gave been on two cruises since last august and enjoyed them tremendously We remain cautious but will not let ifear of getting sick stop us cruising It us too enjoyable and just having meals prepared, stateroom cleaned, and being on the open sea is so much fun Neither of us has had covid but will cope if we get it My primary concern is quarantine but we have worked out a plan so that the one quarantined will be assisted by the one not quarantined to make sure food, drinks, medical care etc are taken care We decided to take cruises 10 days or less to avoid quarantine I say go for it Enjoy yourself and have fun with your group All the best to you

This happens to us as well For international travel you have to have your full name on the airline ticket I always have to contact princess (chat line usually) to add middle names

My sister stayed in this cabin in january They had the fire door propped open No smoke from casino as casino is on the deck above The crown grill is nearby I consider the window suites to be in a convenient location on fiesta deck. Guest services is nearby Club class dining room is down the way.

I used walgreens (drive thru) for january cruise results for idnow came in 30 minutes
also used cvs (outside kiosk) for antigen test for august cruise Results in less than 30 minutes Made appointments online a week in advance

We stayed in the premium suite on the Royal plus we have stayed in the penthouse? suites (the ones closest to the concierge lounge on deck 14)
and we much preferred the ones near the lounge The premium suite was large but the sloping walls in the bedroom we did not care for Also the mini-couch was uncomfortable and the walk to everything on the aft was very long Being near the concierge lounge was very nice A hint on getting one of these penthouse suites is, since they often don't show up on princess site for booking, you need to call to book one or to switch from another room already booked On a big box retailer site you can see them available but often not on the princess site

We were on aug 22 sailing Our steward introduced himself and we made a couple requests, which were fulfilled that day He brought us champagne and then, unless we asked for something, we did not see him he cleaned/made up the room twice a day There are "buttons" you can push on the door medallion display where you can either request privacy or request the room to be cleaned/made up. He was great We would have enjoyed seeing more of him

My 2 cents we were on aug 22 alaska cruise we were hesitant to go because of masks and the testing turns out testing was no problem We wore masks where required (elevator, shops, waiting to be seated in dining room, etc) it was a small annoyance I encourage those who want to cruise to go ahead and have a great time we actually liked the medallion thingy especially for ordering drinks & coffee in our cabin I figured if we could not put up with masks then we would not cruise again for a year or so But we r booked for january 2022 cruise in caribbean Being on the ship means much more than the mask thing

Are you in Reno, NV? You can schedule the antigen test with CVS for aug 19, aug 20 and get result in less than a day Princess says PCR or Antigen test but PCR takes couple days to get results
That is for aug 22 cruise Other dates would apply to other cruise dates

You can have a credit in shore excursions as if you cancel a different excursion and then book another within a short time frame If you don't book another excursion they credit your credit card As to the topic of this thread i have used obc to book excursions and if i cancelled it was returned to my obc account

Late coming to this post but wanted to add something When we were on caribbean princess in january we were in club class minis on deck 9 port side and had no problems at all We did notice an odor (not sewage but "fuel") on deck 7 starboard area We are also sailing on this ship on august 5 from quebec city to nyc
